i believe the ncp13 chassis is lower as standard than the ncp10 yaris... i fitted 30mm springs intended for a normal yaris in my ncp13 and it gave as much drop as a man could want, arches were just on top of the tyres and it scraped on most speed bumps :pac:.

So what your saying is 30mm lowering springs for a 1ltr yars is like 50-60ish mm drop for a Tsport?

I always wondered what OEM sprngs would fit a Tsport. For example on a k11 micra Sizuki alto rear OEM springs fir a micra with a 50mm drop front and 60mm rear drop..

Nice, but as it stands I have no need for a car. I was never one to buy a car and having to run it for the sake of owning a car (Not saying anyone here is. but thats me)..

This is my transport (similar to this)

    ...or is it just me?

I don't have need for a car.. I cycle everywhere. If I have to town 20min away id cycle or Id thumb if it was raining. But I do like cars. :)

    Then you're mad! Haha
I can barely hack having no car in Tallaght.
I can't move seeing public transport and I can cycle to anywhere I need to in about 30 minutes but forget cycling when it's wet out and public transport gives me colds. :pac:

Well, I'm in the middle of nowhere. If I was to take the bus or train, I'd have to walk or cycle ~8 km, and let's face it... public transport is, y'know...

Sane as me man, but if i had no need for a car i would be running a v8 e39 or similar because it'd cost you nothing to bring it for a blast a few days a week.

On another note this diesel mileage spec commuting is beginning to show cracks In how much I'm willing to throw at petrol. .

I need to figure out what to do :(

    Since Jan. .

    Fuel €2,067
    Parts €820

yeah, pretty much, i don't know the figures, but it was quite low. it was dramatic enough. i havn't many pictures on this laptop and the **** ton of snow on the roof in this pic kind of lifts the front, but you get the idea :pac:

Ouch. Not the most economical car in the world. Hopefully it kinda makes up for being fun to drive.

Probably wouldn't be far off your spending there!
Some amount of mileage done over the last few months, not work commute related, all personal journeys.

Wouldn't want to add it app up!

Could you look at putting your bm on a classic policy and running something more economical like Chris?

Broke my arm a week ago Mountain Biking. Today was the first day I've been able to move it enough to get a good look at it:

So glad I drive an automatic :pac:

This is the only reason I'm alright with driving the Micra. :p
I'm only recently getting back to using my arm as normal again so at this stage of love to have my Mazda going but I was really thankful for the auto at first.
    Still pretty achy.

    Any X-ray pics? :D

It does hugely, but a certain sensibleness has to appear at some stage, 6k fuel per year isn't a figure to be proud of :)

Coolisin, i have thought about it but i think it won't be far off the same when i tax, test and insure both if you get me?
The extra cost of an extra car would probably come close to eating away the difference trying to be saved?
Maybe not and I'm all ears for a solution! :)

lpg on your current car might be a solution, you'd get a kit installed for under €1k, then your fuel bill is roughly halved going forward.

It's great, the peasants get out of your way while you waft on by because you're too important to change your own gears.

Wow i can't believe i didn't think of that. I'll have to see how the m52's react to it and go from there.
I thought it was more like 2k for those setups though.

LORD GEARS, is what we call them

In other news, 4 new tires on the Corolla has made me considerably poorer than usual

It's like 10 degrees... what would you want aircon on for :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 586 ✭✭✭ShaunieVW

I don't use my aircon too often because I'm Irish and we have that panic that it's eaten through fuel like there's no tomorrow. Then I'm like oohhh toll bridge, LAUNCH! Using loads of fuel in the process. It literally makes no sense.
