The long running feud between Degsy and CreepingDeath was comedy gold.

There was one poster who I actually thought had taken a strange dislike to me. I soon realised that she is in fact just a pedantic pat who would argue black is white for the sake of it.

Other than that, no. I get accused of disliking people quite regularly when the reality is I've only ever disliked a handful of people on here over the years and wouldn't ever take mod actioned based on that - I always ask another mod to review something if I don't feel I can look on it objectively.

    B******s!!! :D

You tell one of your Mod friends to "ban that f*****, it'll look bad if I do it myself" :D

Pity Degsy isn't around anymore. He's was the kind of character you see less of around boards these days

I've been in a few heated discussions on here, I have my opinions/points of view and I post them because that's what Boards is for ......... never take it personally if another poster disagrees with me and I would hope no poster takes any of my posts personally either.

As far as I can tell (from a quick search of my own posts), I've agreed and disagreed with several posters depending on the topic but no individual poster feuds .......... I think?

I just try to keep my head down and get about my posting business. I don't want no trouble, I've a family to look after.

I can't afford to slug it out in a 20 page epic, man-to-man, multi-quote nightmare "Should there be rent control?"-esque thread only to be hauled away by the mods. It's senseless.

There are 2 obvious possibilities i can think of, and they're in a boards feud with each other.
To be fair i can think of about 10 posters off the top of my head on Boards who'd fit that description.

This poster isn't in a feud with anyone from what I can see. This is a special kind of infantile mindlessness I'm talking about here.

I'm not too cool to admit I really don't like certain posters.it's always political right wingers here that piss me off.

I've been a Mod on a few FB groups for college and it's very tempting to get rid of certain people if you rub each other up the wrong way.

I've had a few posters take cheap potshots at me on this particular forum. I'm well able to ignore them though. The issue is with them and not me.

I'd suggest they learn some basic mindfulness techniques, but even that suggestion seems to anger some people.

The way i look at it is that you're going to meet people in real life that you won't like or agree with. Just because this is an internet forum doesn't mean it'll be any different in that regard.

I wonder how many people are reading these and thinking, 'Ummm are they talking about me?!?' :)

This is not a thread for the paranoid.

Oh your turn is coming, don't worry about that! :)

Just the one, being rather annoyed with the consist requests for proof for my position when I just cottoned on no alternative proofs were being offered on their own - akin to Socratic questioning with the myth and not the wit.

Everyone else, I find myself in agreement with them on some issue - even it is obscure things like TV adverts.

The mindfulness techniques appear not to be working for you, judging by your own accounts of your treatment of IT support employees in your workplace. Not the best advertisement for the practice, are you?

If someone responds to a post I've made with some interesting, informative and articulate counter-argument, I'll probably engage and have a bit of civil over and backing.

If someone responds with illiterate ignorant shyte, I'll just ignore them and move on with my life.

I find it's usually a choice whether some random boards post gets to you or not and usually conclude that I've more to worry about than what some anonymous arsebandit thinks of me on the interwebz.

It's not like that it's just they're so boring and predictable.if I hear of a current affairs news story I could nearly write their response.some of the left leaning posters like wes and Nodin almost always add in some interesting or insightful information.have to say that Manic Moran bucks the trend however.i don't agree with him but he knows his stuff and he explains his point of view very well.

football thread is feud city. Either fans of the team bitching about the mgr or "subtle" attempts to start flame wars with the other side. United - Liverpool is poison, the internets longest running dribblefest.

If this thread has taught me anything, it's that I'm terrible at recognising who new accounts were before they re-registered.

Death threats, I've had a few. But then again, too few to mention.

Earlier today, someone went to the bother of creating an account to troll me over something that happened in late 2007.

He even went to the bother of sending me a PM. See attached picture.
Some people really know how to hold a grudge.

We're still allowed to take the piss out of banned members, right?
That **** was a really sad bastard. Seriously, it was something that happened 7 and a half years ago. I had to google it to get the date. Get a ****ing life.

The only feud I'm having at the moment is with the second ad on the Touch site - it's touch - I keep fecking hitting it as I scroll down ... But no I don't dislike any poster really and enjoy another perspective even if I don't agree with it.

Though I think posters who refer to another poster's posting history on boards come across a bit creepy -
