Sorry about that, it happens, its when you try to cover as many freq as I do. But in fairness we get a good overall coverage of the goings on ay EIDW

We certainly do. There is also a second feed that's without ground and other things which can also be used at the time and to look back at in the archives.

Edit: No it didn't, it just flew over the airport to have a westerly approach.

    Hi all

I'm a recent FR app addict convert - I find the whole thing fascinating -I have also the Live ATC app - Any other recommendations for listening to ATC or is that the best one - I have a scanner but it's next to useless where I am based .
Since getting hooked I have been checking in on this thread regularly but I often get caught up in the emergency alerts and in following say a diverted plane - often times you don't find the outcomes - I've further tracked things through the Aviation Herald App which gives incident updates any other recommendations there too?

Anyway really just wanted to say Hi - and introduce myself.

A bit nondescript, but there was some sort of military looking four engine propeller plane circling Shannon earlier.
Didn't show up on fr 24. Have the proper camera ready if it reappears. All I got was the attached on my phone, you'll have to zoom in A LOT!

    Anyone know what it is?

    Anyone know what it is?

Probably 96-7324 as RCH680 which plodded westwards across Ireland from 18:10 onwards, made landfall just south of Drogheda I think.

It was on a similar track but well behind a KLM A332 ( KLM695 ).

Descended around 18:40 so presumably landed at Shannon.

    Are we aware of this?

Seen a news article about it a few weeks ago, didn't think it'd look so cool.

Always be promised Shannon will stay one step ahead of the rest :)

What's wrong with Jet2 from Edinburgh, EXS051F, currently doing circles along the north coast?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,314 ✭✭✭CardinalJ

Think that's a Malaga flight. Presumably burning fuel before a diverted landing.

Think that plane was diverted to Stanstead last week as well?

Edit, actually he's been up for so long he could easily have gone back to EDI. Prob testing.
