What the heck is this EIN A320 doing over Belfast International? EI-EDS up from Shannon.

    http://fr24.com/EIN990/60f6a5f

Round and round he goes... training or taunting them about the £40 million law-suit?!

'We have your money right here, you just need to collect it.. haha too slow!'

Ta! But wouldn't it be a bit cheaper and less antagonistic down at Shannon...?

They do occasionally divert to BIA but I wouldn't have thought it frequent enough to warrant all that effort.

I don't know the differences in prices to be honest. Who would it antagonise?

It would basically be "we need a spare plane and a quiet airport to complete our base training". Ops sort out flight plans and if you can't do enough circuits go to another airport.

Doubt it. It was probably in the mix.

I think I'll delete my post later, wouldn't want the BAL guys finding out :)

Funny enough my young fella is doing work experience in BAL this week, he is visiting the control tower tomorrow, I wonder will they let him back out with my list of wants filled?

Glad to hear he got the placement :)

No harm trying :D They're really friendly. Pretty sure I got to talk to a controller for a good while when I did work exp in BAL. Tell him to ask lots of questions :P

BA181 or G-VIIN is on it's way to JFK again. It got oceanic clearance and took off at midnight. The BA crew did thank Shannon for their assistance.

Eastbounds coming off the Atlantic are floating high today. There was a Lufthansa A343 at FL410 earlier, loads of A330s up that high and even lardy-boy 777s are sitting at FL400

    http://fr24.com/AAL78/6107c3e

Winner so far today was GLF5 M-SAJJ at FL470

Possibly, depends on the camera fitted. More likely a contract from the county council. There is a requirement to map the country every few years. What can be surveyed in a matter of hours in the air would take months doing it the old way on the ground.
