Every time I tried photographing Holly Blues they never seemed to stay still, so I gave up. Well done!

What are the mites on the bumblebee? Is it the same species on all bumblebees or are they species specific?

That is one from a set I got a few weeks ago.. but things not going too well lately. Loads of sightings - but the little feckers won't settle.

Canoeists and dogs are real 'annoyances'.

Seen these two massive lads in the gaa pitches in kilnamanagh of all places.
Knew these weren't average crows so stopped car and got out. The one closest was clicking his bill and grunting as they do.
