Most of ye probably won't notice the difference, but changing from 16's to 17's makes the world of difference in the flesh!

What you do with the 16's???

They're in the shed at the moment. I was talking to a fella that said he would take them off me.

Was it you that mentioned something about them before?

Did you mean to get the same type or was that a accident?

    Say what now?

The alloys they are the same type just different sizes. Did you want to get the same type?

Well I wanted 17's, 18's are too big for the roads I do be on. With 17's I would have had 3 oem options - the ones I got, and these 2, found on the ghia and titaniuim specs respectively.

The ones I got are found on some of the titanium specs, but also with the zetec sport (an english spec).Mine is a standard zetec so now just looks like a zetec sport!
The zetec sport has tinted rear windows, spoiler and a lower sports suspension, but I'm close enough!

I think the more sporty 5 spoke wheel looks the best on the mondeo.

Ya, but if you've someone lined up then work away. I've gotta pay for a timing belt first.

If it falls through, I'll let you know! Don't you have volvo ones or something on yours?

Sorry people, don't mean to start chatting on this thread.

fair play, that'l look excellent. is that exactly where you are going to place the colour? have you considered the way the "original" 86 done it, with the second line of black above the solid black colour. it blends the two colours nicely, the difference is very harsh at the moment. cool looking, but harsh :pac:.

    edit: like this

LEvin doesn't really have a second natural line. 2/3 tone looks best if its not forced I think. Older boxy shaped cars / vans have more straight lines around the car.

I looked at 4 celica a few weeks ago. Very hard to find one like yours.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,903 ✭✭✭✭Toyotafanboi

i only bought that one around 6 weeks ago :P took a fair bit of holding out though, a lot of them are in a very tired state.

3 series is a very different animal though, driven by the proper wheels for a start :D :pac: does it have cow?

    Cow?

Celica is still on my must own list, there was a lovely import in Louth a few weeks ago, looking for crazy money though

Edit: thanks to Foxhole Norman and a few others in the Buyers forum who persuaded me to get the 'proper' engine

    cow = leather :)

you'd be worse off listening to him, he's nearly as biased as me :P

I was convinced by the lads here to go with the 6 pot too, albeit mine is a 320, not 325. Best decision ever really.

Bit of quick hack photoshop job, but think I might agree...
