There's a chance it will be only on Sky's UK EPG, and not ROI like Channel 5, 5* and 5USA

    That's awful telly.

I wonder just how many people in total will watch each days viewing of that rubbish?

So a mixture of Pick, CBS Reality and Channel 5 basically...

...and Spike is going to run Breaking Bad, it's time now to watch it again, especially as Better Call Saul is just coming to the end of series 1.

Yes it's a pity they didn't pick up the cheap rights for some 80's US tv like Miami Vice, The A-Team, Knight Rider etc. Seems their budget was just spent on Breaking Bad.

Any confirmation that it will appear on the Sky Irish epg? Would love to series link and record Breaking Bad!

ITV4 tends to show that sort of thing but only fitfully.

I was asking a sky agent in new bridge yesterday whether sky was going to increase its recording options, ie watching one channel while recording another and he told that inthe next month or so sky would be putting more channels into its 'catch up channels' RTE , UTV Ireland,BBC channels included, can this be correct??

there's already enough channels on SKY not available on the Irish EPG, would be shame if this adds another to the list. It's a viacom channel tho and they have all their channels here anyway so what is so special about this channel that it won't be available to Irish sky viewers?

just saw an add for this channel and it's run by Channel 5 so 100% will not be available to Irish customers.

Channel 5 is owned by Viacom - so it literally could go either way as to whether we get to see it.

Saw the ads for it as well and thought I'd check it out online and found this

Maybe it is going to be broadcast here as well......

Looks like it won't be on the Sky Irish epg. I asked on the Sky Ireland forum and the response was that there are no plans to add it.

    Spike TV

its 'other channels' for sky ireland boxes

    EPG for freesat receivers

I don't think I will be watching it much but its good to have it

Any tests for this channel yet? I suspect it is the currently encrypted channel on the Channel 5 transponder.

Angling tv looks like being a BT Sport News placeholder.

Coming in May - Talking Pictures TV. On Sky first then Freesat (they hope) by Christmas.

    http://talkingpicturestv.co.uk/

they really do need to fix the google search terms, two bland words which fetch up either the old BBC Two series or an American film review blog.

If they aim to be on Freesat, then it will definitely be free to air. :)

It sounds like they will be similar to the old Bravo UK cable channel in the 1980s and 90s. They showed a lot of classic 'black and white' until they revoked that policy in the mid 1990s.

I think it will be great to see those types of programmes and movies again!

Well if so that would be huge. Well huge if its the English teams, but then if it was that would make no commercial sense so it'll be third round qualifiers of Scottish and Irish sides won't it? :p
