It's typical of the mind-set of AH that the worst town thread is a lot busier.;)

They also used a capital "B" for "Best" and "T" for "Town.
It's just a flashier, more eye catching thread.
Some people are born winners, can sell ice to eskimos, have the gift of the gab etc
OP is probably dying a lower-case death inside by now any way

There are quite a lot of wretched (pardon my German) shïtholes in the Midlands though that need to be mentioned.

Strandhill in Sligo is a nice place. Good golf course there.

I was in Oranmore (Near Galway) for the first time recently and thought it was very pretty. Compact, but nice.

Ardmore in Waterford is a lovely place with a really impressive hotel.
I also like Roundstone and Clifden.
Are they your feudal barony tenures then?

    +1 for Inistioge, it's fab.
    Also:
    Dunmore East
    Adare
    Lahinch
    Rosscarbery
    Glandore
    Killarney
    Dingle
    Clifden
    Westport

Unfortunately I don't know enough of the towns in the North.

I'd much prefer the countryside of Ireland than the towns though.

Moville and Greencastle during the Regatta festival up to a few years ago. Recession has unfortunately decimated the place.

I really like Kilkenny, Glengarriff, and Maynooth. Plenty of lovely spots in Ireland. On the whole I love Dublin too.
