    What do you mean?

They look a bit small. Are they 14"?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,972 ✭✭✭Chris_Heilong

I put the original bumper back on the car as I am doing some fiberglass repair on some cracks on the other one(very messy stuff that fiberglass).

The car looks funky, like someone photo shopped 2 cars together.

^^Oh yeah is that when someone parked in front of your driveway and you tried to still fit the car in and damaged the bumper.

That didnt help but it is mostly from banging the front lip when parking, sometimes it looks like I have enough height to fit it over the path, sometimes I am wrong, the left and right side developed a crack in the same place on each side as a result of the bang to the front, so i am repairing the cracks and strengthening the area.

You're not the only one. I think the E34 looks much better.

It's the same with most companies imo, not just BMW.

The E39 in my unbiased view (:pac:) is the pinnacle of the 5 Series design, followed by the F10 and then the E34.

The E60 is a nice car in its own right, just hasn't aged as well as it might have

The M-Sports are definitely still a very smart car, especially with Spiders, the SE, not so much.

Do ya think? If you ask me, and my detailed expertise with bmws the e81 is the nicest followed by the e29, the e55, the e1155 and finally, my least favourite the e12.

Well thanks, now I will never be able to open a car door ever again.

I suppose what I meant is that in 1990 - the BMW was a premium CAR - in 2006 it was turning into a premium BRAND.

Audi are the same really if you compare a 1990 Audi 80 with a 2006 Audi A4 - same deal gone from premium car to premium brand.

In saying that - I do like the new A3

I remember the Audi 80 as more of a quality product, with nobody under any illusions that it was anything but a posh vw. it had the safety thing (Procon ten) and it was galvanised. It wouldn't have had the same status as a bmw or Mercedes though.

I can't see too much changed tbh.
