Iain Corbett puts us a point in front. Sounds like a very decent Limerick crowd up there, certainly very vocal.

Radio signal went for a good few minutes there; had been level when it went, Limerick are now in the lead by a point after Robert Browne & Peter Nash scored. Chance for Louth to level with a handy free now.

0-7 to 0-5 down now, and other results not going our way.

Ian Ryan free and Danny Neville points within a minute or so and now we're level.

By all accounts, Louth should have had a black card on the stroke of half-time for pulling down Iain Corbett when through on goal. They got away with it but Ian Ryan slots the free and we have the lead at the break.

We're with the wind in the 2nd half, let's hope we can hold on.

    GOAL!!! Pa Ranahan!

That's great stuff, Ian Ryan won the ball cleanly and offloaded it to Ranahan who buried it. 7 up, against 14 men, we have to stay up now.

Excellent! It just wouldn't be Limerick if they didn't make us sweat in the closing stages!!!

After breaking Dundalk's 100% record last night, it's been a good weekend for Limerick teams against Louth ones.

A super win for the footballers.

They played well in a lot of the games throughout the league but lacked a bit in the forwards. Tipp especially was a disaster with the wides.

They came good when it mattered. Nash is in a Harry Kane like run of form with goals at the moment and having Ian Ryan back for the last 2 games was vital.

Huge credit to the management too given the number of players that have left the panel in the last 2 seasons. They've done well bringing in a lot of young players.

Limerick never do announcements early in the day, probably name it tonight or tomorrow evening.
