    It's hilarious.

Last week, a rival captains Kane, this week another captains Austin.

Kun HAS to do something tomorrow or I've been destroyed 2 weeks in a row.

Austin could destroy a lot of seasons before this GW is through. Nobody could have possibly banked on him getting 15 points away to West Brom. QPR are dire away from home and Pulis is superb at home. A completely illogical amount of points with the 'easy' game to come!

I want Kun to do nothing,it'll justify my move on getting him out and Rooney in.

It's easy to say that after he gets 15, but there are plenty of people who have Austin that didn't captain him, Like others have said QPR away form coupled with WB at home was not an easy fixture on paper.

Based on fixtures there is/was a better chance of Kane/Aguero getting a hatch then there was on Austin getting the 15 point haul yesterday imo

Equally if you think it was a no brainer to captain say Austin, then shouldn't it be a no brainer that he would be in everyone's team?

The key word was "if" and I would agree. You have to gamble on the guy with two fixtures, particularly when they are on penalties and are involved in almost all of your teams goals.
I went with Benteke over Austin, still think that I could come out of that smelling of roses.

I said the same before yesterday's game that it was a no brainer to capt either if you had them. I can also see why people didn't get austin or Benteke in as they may have had costa or giroud. I had him in my team and for me I never gave it a second thought of captaining anyone else. Two games so a minimum of 4 pts and the way my capt choices have gone all season that was good enough for me.

Any hoots. The Spurs match must be a pretty quiet game so far. No commentary on it.

QPR are a different side under Ramsey. I wouldn't have captained Austin under Arry with 2 away fixtures

Pretty dour. Burnley working very hard and making it hard for Spurs. 0-0 F/T wouldn't surprise me. Ings missed a sitter early on, and then forced a good save from Vorm just b4 the break

I take it Erisksen hasn't had his customary shot off the woodwork then.

    :pac:

No it wouldn't be bad, it'd be disastrous! :o

Let me be clear, I have no issue with people captaining Austin. It was a perfectly logical move.

The 15 points (doubled) just far exceeded what I'd have expected from the first game.

He's on track for a potential 50 point haul if you captained him, which is mental. QPR don't perform away from home. I'd have expected 3 goals max from them over the 2 games, and maybe Austin involved in 2 of them, 3 at worst.

Tuesday is going to be tough now for those without him.

Yeah, Eriksen has been poor ever since Kane hit his run of form. He was a good differential earlier in the season when him and Chadli got all their goals.

    Looks like it.
I could really do with a clean sheet from him today.

clean sheet and assist would be lovely... surprised to see him drop to 4.1M but no way was i selling

Starting krul with panti on bench so panti is guaranteed to save two pens, keep a cs and score.

Horrible gameweek. The blank from Kane caps it off. He was my captain.

ah so that's why 0-0 would have been a disaster

Points are always good, but a Kane blank isn't the worst thing in the world in all honesty.

An Aguero brace would now take back a lot of the 50 points I lost last week.

If he's not your captain and you don't support spurs you have nothing to gain from anything he gets. In all seriousness you'd be better of if he was sent off after missing a penalty
