Enjoy the glory but remember your best bet is to concentrate on winning the CUP;)

You're probably right you know! I'd be happy with that.

A single goal/assist from Kane, and a cleanie from Sunderland will do me today. A goal/assist from O'Shea will be a nice bonus. Today is just about protecting yesterday's lead gained.

I thought 37 would be okay but I've dropped around 5k places to 27k. Only saving grace is that people around me in my main private league haven't done well either.

Need captain Kane to score a double hat-trick to offset not owning Austin

An Aguero double hat-trick. Silva to assist Aguero. A Phillips Hat-trick. Austin to not score. For Mickey Turner to have his loan cut short at Fulham so that Chelsea can sign him on emergency loan for the rest of the season.

    Oh and a surprise :)

Austin to get a mysterious dose of food poisoning before they play Villa.

In Manchester airport and just had a Costa coffee, didn't enjoy it at all as it reminded of the FPL nightmare that was 04/04/15.....shudder...

Has Kane been captain before? Hopefully he can't handle the pressure and blanks. Maybe another missed pen too for good measure.

54 with 3 left, and guzan to go again.... not too happy thus far, but kane silva and chadli could all pump up my score.... heres hoping, but having captained Hazard im kinda hoping Kane doesnt go on a mad one, as he is vice.....

    It's hilarious.

Last week, a rival captains Kane, this week another captains Austin.

Kun HAS to do something tomorrow or I've been destroyed 2 weeks in a row.

Austin could destroy a lot of seasons before this GW is through. Nobody could have possibly banked on him getting 15 points away to West Brom. QPR are dire away from home and Pulis is superb at home. A completely illogical amount of points with the 'easy' game to come!

I doubt the people who captained Austin put too much thought into it apart from oh he has a double game week

Need another day like yesterday tbh!

Finished on 83 with 5 dgw players (inc captain Austin), And Kane and Clichy to play.

Still 99 points behind the leader of my league..

If you had austin or Benteke it was a no brainer to captain them.

That, and his fine run of form led me to captaining him. I'm really surprised more people didn't captain him tbh.

Or maybe we looked at the fact that he already scored a combined total of 5 goals this season against West Brom and Villa, and the fact he has a DGW doesn't hurt.

    ings should have scored that

That was pretty much all the thought I put into him.

    :D

Keeper was a tougher choice. Dropped Guzen, who him self had a double GW, for Green, also on a doubler. Couldn't do with a Austin v Guzen.

I captained him because I felt he had the highest points expectancy for the week. He was odds against to score but over the two matches he was the striker most likely to score at least one goal and when the two additional playing points were added made him the best captain choice for me. He obviously scored hugely over expectancy yesterday so that element was very lucky which was nice! Those who had Kane last week and Austin this week should feel ridiculously lucky!

He's also very high up on touches in the box. Just behind Aguero.

If you had austin or Benteke it was a no brainer to captain them.

It's easy to say that after he gets 15, but there are plenty of people who have Austin that didn't captain him, Like others have said QPR away form coupled with WB at home was not an easy fixture on paper.

Based on fixtures there is/was a better chance of Kane/Aguero getting a hatch then there was on Austin getting the 15 point haul yesterday imo

Equally if you think it was a no brainer to captain say Austin, then shouldn't it be a no brainer that he would be in everyone's team?
