Norwegian is my next plane of interest. Should be a long shortly. And the 777 is off Balbriggan atm.

    Poor thing

There are a lot of birds in a holding pattern for Dublin now.

    I wonder why?

I'd say it's to do with the volume of traffic, it's the start if the Easter weekend and it's a non precision approach!

I don't have to go out till it crosses the Liffey.

    Woeful day for photos though.

I'd say it's third up for me now.

Every day since they started the summer season there's been significant holding at Dublin. Have they chewed off a little more than they cab swallow?

And now there is a ground incident, oil spill I think I heard. More delays I suppose!

But as other posters have said, this weekend is a busy one anyway.

    Yikes.

I suppose that will be next in.

Not too many on the way to Dublin from the UK side anymore, hopefully the lack of arrivals will clear up delays.

Gah, it took ages to sort out the technology this end. Don't know why.

There's a little Luxair thing due in shortly and then I'll probably look at what I've got.

Pity it's such a dull day.

Yep. I might throw up a colour one later when I've finished going through what I got today. Sun is starting to shine though; I might hit lucky later on with the Etihad if we're still on 34.

There are a couple of colour ones of the Emirates gone up on the pictures thread now, along with the Luxair, the SAS and the Germanwings.

It's great when they change the runway, because this becomes the view from my window.

I'll have a pretty good view out my window of EY41, because I'm in 15k :) - hopefully it's still 34 in use.

It's lining up on 34 if it's the Etihad you're thinking about. I'm waiting for it.

Yes, but I've seen some bizarre manoeuvres to change landing strip before :pac:

This seems to be a Honduras-registered ATR42 that has staged through Iceland on a long trip back to Europe. HR-AXH.

    Approaching Dublin at 25,000 ft

I'm not shooting from the lay-by. Here's what you looked like coming in over Whitehall...

added to say: there's another couple of shots of it on the flickr account underneath - put one of them in the photothread too.

767 is lining up for 28 I think.

I don't feel so bad about it being pitch dark now....
