I have no doubt Jezza ewill be back bigger and better than ever, that paddy will never get a decent gig again in the UK hopefully, hope he ends up in RTE making tea for Ryan Tubridy, that would be his level

Fair play to him for coming out and saying it. Obviously he does have some class... which is more than can be said about your man above

He will in time. If he can make up with someone like Piers Morgan, he can do it with anyone.
But as it stands, it's gone too far in, admitting anything will leave him wide open, legally, to be absolutely cleaned out, financially. Nobody would do that to themselves. He'll have to wait untill the case closes when he'll be able to do so, privately, without losing everything.
    [/QUOTE]

The missus is going to take him to cleaners anyway.
She was his manager and can claim that she helped him make all those millions.
    Remember Ray Parlour.

I think clarkson owed it to Tymon to say something.
All he has had to say was leave him alone and no matter what happened somebody should not be targetted like this.
That is admitting liability or fault.

I thought he did try apologising to him the next day. Not publicly, but privately.

Actaully some people appear to think this all happened in a couple of days.
AFAIK the day after he almost missed a hot breakfast because they were doing work in the hotel, he had gotten up late probably with a massive hangover.

He only went to Tymon's house a few days later after he knew the crew or Tymon were probably going to inform or leak the story.
It was then he told BBC.

clarkson has only done things when pushed and in his own interest in this whole saga.

Some public apologies by celebrities are bullsh*t anyway. They're practically saying sorry for getting caught as opposed to doing something wrong. If Clarkson tried apologising to the guy directly, I'd say fair play.

He did try to do so days later when he knew the sh** was going to hit the fan.

No, but I think the fact that the BBC is funded by taxpayers is a huge part of this alright. Same with the Jonathan Ross/Brand radio debacle. There would probably be a different outcome had this been on an ad funded channel. Shouldn't really be the case of course, abusive behaviour towards a colleague is the same anywhere, but there you go.

Public companies often don't tend to like this kind of publicity either.
Advertisers can often be picky and hold clout.
See what Sky did with keyes.

I am not allowed discuss …

If he employed an manager, then the manager deserves some credit for his success. She won't 'claim' she helped him make those millions, she DID.

We've no idea what she's going to get in the divorce, but go ahead and make the unflattering assumptions about the wife, while Clarkson had a public affair and no one says anything.

I hope his wife didn't get the same treatment Tymon did if she was late organising his dinner.

And if he gets a slap for not having warmed his hands pre-cupping, there better not be a thread here where he's complaining about it.

an attention seeking git like that turning up at a&e like that with a fat lip really is preposterous, with the strain the NHS is under

I've only really skimmed over this thread but your posts really stand out.

You don't know the injury level.

You don't know the producer's medical history.

You also don't know the relevant processes and procedures the BBC will have for staff injiured at work.

I work for a large transport organisaiton. A member of staff injured at work, particular someone assaulted would be required to see a medic. Particularly if assaulted - medical evidence in the event of a criminal prosecution.

Id be tempted to agree if not for the directors statement, he said assaulting a colleague is completely unacceptable and the end of the road, if they bring him back in a year will the director then have to say that it is acceptable all of a sudden?

I suspect Clarkson may well come back. Look at this:

People are only standing up for this drama queen because he is Irish, that is understandable. But Tynan is in the wrong here, he failed to do his job and created a scene. How difficult can it be to organise a bit of grub for a chap after he has a few pints? That was his job and he failed, if he was on a building site, he would have got a slap of a shovel across the back of the head, and called a lot worse. One million people who signed the petition are not wrong, Jezza will be back anyway, bigger and better than ever and this lads career is over on the mainland

Thats like blaming a rape victim for wearing short skirts. Its not his fault clarkson has a drinking problem. I hope he takes him to the cleaners, I really do.

Tymon's career is only starting. This has a book deal written all over it, he will be a reality show star as well and he should milk it for all its worth. Probably will end up on big brother with has beens like, I dont know, clarkson??

Apparently James May had an old Bentley once, but I don't generally comment on rumour and speculation. :pac:
