Probably bite the hand off those dealers... Sounds like they'll be getting stuck with it for quite some time.

For a great car, they really arent that popular.

Kind of got me thinking, what would be the most popular covertible in Ireland?

She's after something 2008 and above so she will have the cheap tax on it.

I think the reason you're getting a high trade in value for the 206cc against the 207cc is because the 207cc isn't selling either.

I quite like the VW Eos or the Astra Twinport isn't that bad either

Yeah the 207 she was looking at only had about 60 views online and it was up a day or two! She loves it so she may be going with it.

She also liked the Eos but they arent really within her price budget. There was one but it had far too much miles on it.

Astra is nice too. I know if I was choosing then I would pick it as it would probably sell faster than the Peugeot when she is selling again in the future.

    My choice anyway

    Yeah, that, an S2000 or a Z4.
Personally, I wouldn't consider anything else in that segment.

Would be tempted by a lot of older cars though!

    Isnt there a convertible S15?

There is but it's so rare there's no point on adding it to the list. :p
Production stopped in 2002 so it's off the list in that regard too.

They'd all be my favourites too! The S2000 is at the top :pac:

But for a woman who wants to have 4 seats, I guess there's not much.. Peugoet, Renault & Mini all come to mind - which have nothing on a S2000 or a Z4

I seen this last week in my local paper and though of it when you mentioned EOS. Seems to tick all the boxes 2008, low mileage, one owner, 1.4tsi with the most reliable 122bhp version.

I haven't washed my car since sometime in 2014, no plans to do so until the weather picks up either. It does feel good not worrying about keeping it clean and just driving it.

Feeling a bit down today so I decided to go for a spin on my own. Overall about 170 km through Dublin and Wicklow avoiding major roads, got as far as Arklow and turned around. Some great roads along the way, nearly ended up putting the car in a wall after taking a corner too fast somewhere just outside Bray, misjudged it and my speed, coupled with a severe lack of power steering..wasn't fun. I honestly don't even know where I was for most of the day, just driving around and taking in the scenery. Wicklow is a beautiful county. Anyway I am sure you're all sick of looking at this car now so here's just the one pic, taking a rest in Bray away from the drunken idiots. I was in no mood to stop and take any photos along the way really.

all standard suspension wise, but the 18's do it no justice and make it look very jeepy. in time i'd like to replace them with a set of original wheels but for now, with new rubber on those alloys i'm just driving it on.

altezza as she sits now new alloys going on back tommorow due to arch needing to be rolled, new bumper on and spots along with paint touch ups, loving the alloys i think it sets the car off![IMG][/img]5fDUfbI.jpg
