Down another 15k to 67k. 6 to play.

Off to London for the Chelsea Southampton game so hopefully I can bring some luck to Ivanovic Terry and Hazard!

After so many people bringing him in here pretty happy for him to pick up a score! Was worried what would happen if he didn't score straight away! Funnily enough he played deeper today than almost any other match this season hopefully he is playing further forward in the future. He was VERY involved though which bodes well and a couple of attempts from set pieces his overall attacking play didn't look so good though.

    Feels great to be right...

He is my top scorer this week, not worried about him playing deep now...

Such a low scoring week so far that I don't even complain seeing some players have taken a hit.

just back from gaa match so missed the city game.
I'm really really strongly considering captaining benteke next week now. if you take price tags out of it then he is the logical choice for me........just spotted Kane has leic at home too!
it must be time to talk about Sergio's value..........Sanchez is gone from my team for sure but possibly not for another week as his possible replacements are away from home too next week. after schlupp and benteke performance I am going to continue to diversify my team from the others in my league. its making it fun if nothing else.
final thought ......I hope Kane( or eriksen but preferably Kane) has some dodgy lasagna tonight so Georgie Boyds points come to me. What a hero!

Kane home to Leicester & Aguero home to West Brom be brave to go elsewhere.

benteke home to Swansea! I'll see how city go midweek.......also a factor

All good option given fixtures I think its fair to say Kane & Aguero are at least a level above Tekkers though!

Guy in my Members Cup game started Myhill and benched Foster how sweet would that have been if Foster stayed on another few minutes would have served them right!! Benched Silva as well very strange! That player got 8 and my Members Cup opponent scored 9 their combined ranking was less than mine hopefully a nice bit of giant killing!!

I read an article on that strategy in FFS a few months back. Somebody looked up stats over the years and starting with the non playing keeper if you have a same club combo gets marginally better points. Somebody actually looked up all the times a keeper had been replaced in a PL game over the years:eek:. The reason being a lot of the time the sub keeper comes on its because the first choice has been sent off and ending up on a minus score. The sub keeper that comes on will also have a chance to save a peno in a lot of cases.
Benching silva now thats a different ball game.

Thats crazy that someone looked into it! Never saw that article before! Actually makes sense I wonder if they worked out how many times it did go wrong as it must be very, very few this was just an unfortunate week for it!

Funny that it suggests starting Foster! One small thing that would effect it for me and is almost as unlikely as your GK going off is imagine you started your second choice GK and your main GK scored a few points and you were 2nd for the GW on Saturday night by a point! You'd be pretty sickened you weren't top due to trying to be clever with your keepers!

Foster got 1 point, myhill got 0, so he ended up losing out today. :)

Yeh but a few more minutes and it really would have been a shocker for them!

9 points. Foster was a sickener. 5 to play tomorrow: Bertrand, Eriksen, Hazard, Studge and Kane.

    Studge is the big differential.

Down 5k places today to 23k.

10 points from 3 including (c) Aguero... Hoping my other players turn up tomorrow :(

You still have 8 to go.

Most of us (judging by previous posts) have 4-5 only;)

24 points with 5 to come in... so 29 with 5 left to play - Ivanovic, Hazard, Eriksen, Sterling & Kane..

Only just noticed Bellerin did not play, rested ? 19 with 4 to play means red arrow definitely

Two points higher than the top 10k average and 0.3 more players. If that is your worst week ever then you are an amazing player.

21 from seven players is my worst week ( in terms of points) ever. Compared to other scores, it is average

Your score to other scores is all that matters really. No point in getting 60 pts if everyone else is getting 80 pts. I'm on 17 from 7 not too disheartened at the minute as it's in and around what most are getting.

25 from 8. Hard to know what to think, points wise it's on the high side for the week but I have less players than most to go.

Georgie is on my bench but can have no complaints, it was the correct call. Still won't complain if Hazard, Eriksen or Kane wake up with a 24 hour tummy bug this morning!

Your relative score is all that matters give me 21 when the average is 19 over 70 when the average is 100 the pure score number is completely irrelevant.

Lol didn't see your post before replying! I always think you're better having a bad week in these low scoring weeks and a good one in the huge ones! Be better to just get good ranks every week but no one does that! Other than that Ville Ronka of course. That guy is an FPL freak it just shouldn't be possible.

29(-4) with Bertrand eirksen Kane and hazard to go!
I'd love of kane could miss the entire game an it gratefully accept SGB 11 points
chelsea game I really need them to concede and would not be against a saints clean sheet
a confusing day for a united fan :D

Most days are probably confusing for United fans. ;)

That's a great score for this week. Your gambles have paid off! Giroud was my hero yesterday. Could really do with a 1-1 in the Chelsea/Saints game and a 0-0 in Liverpool/Swansea. That would be perfect.
