Used to be slightly different format at the Reebok with a Thursday night session instead of what is currently the Friday afternoon session. So 4 days but the same overall length if that makes sense.

I think Butlins Minehead is fine for the Players Championship in December, think it really works great as a venue then. But don't think it works well for the UK Open at all.

I have to agree with everyone saying that Minehead is not a good venue for the UK Open, the Reebok was far better with all games going on the same room. It really added to the tournament. Minehead is a good venue for the Players Championships but not for the UK Open. This has nothing to do with Sky v ITV it's simply down to the venue. I think the UK Open has lost a little bit of it's appeal since moving to Minehead.
