What about Anderson last night. Shocking finishing under pressure.

Few lads I follow on Twitter tipped Andrew Gilding last week. Sickend I didn't throw a few quid eachway on him now. Can't see past Taylor or MvG to lift it but I'd love to see Bunting win it.

    Bunting 10-6 King
    MVG 10-5 Peterson.

Its hard to dislike Devon Peterson, even in his interview after getting beat he's in great spirits and joking about. Its a nice break from the sly sports hype machine re: mvg V anyone

Some fantastic finishes by Suljovic and Gilding and barely a person watching the match instead they are cheering someone getting chucked out. Absolute morons

Wright 3-2 up at the break. Broke Taylor's throw...

    Wright wins 10-6

No sign of Taylor interviewing must have spat his dummy out,Wright has lost it in interview meant a lot to him was crying

I just seen the very end of the interview, why was he crying? To get to the semifinal?

Ya it was just an outpouring of emotion basically,Expect Bunting to defeat him now later ,nearly everyone who takes Taylor out exits next stage

Turned over to the football so didn't see the end but tend to agree with the thoughts of Wright putting too much emotion into the Taylor match will could effect him in the semi. Even if Bunting takes a lead early on Wright's shown he can make comebacks so it could be a great game

    Semi-Finals
    Stephen Bunting v Peter Wright
Michael van Gerwen v Andrew Gilding
    Best of 19 legs

    Final
    Bunting/Wright v van Gerwen/Gilding
    Best of 21 legs

Wright's big finishing was fairly on the ball. I like Wright, in the minority I think.

Not affecting him so far anyhow taking out serious darts so far ,and he's nailing a couple of maximums

    Bunting 0-5 Wright haha

    so much for emotions

Well it was live darts on tv but probably 1 of the least enjoyable UK Opens IMO, repeating myself but the butlins venues suck!

Jesus lad I know Sky did a better job of it but still a great tournament I thought, some under dogs going deep, great standard on all the televised games. Loads of comebacks and close games. What more do you want?

No more tv tournaments now untill June (besides PL) :-(

    I want a decent venue.

Got nothing to do with sky V itv, comebacks, close games or underdogs....the venue is awful! UK open was a much more enjoyable tournament when it was held in the reebok stadium.

Didn't the open previously run over a longer format also(monday-Sunday)?

I dont see how the venue makes a difference unless you're actually at the event. I mean your just looking at the game. I know Sky used to show more of the games off the big stage but I still think it was a great weekend. I'd nearly prefer itv coverage to Skys,no bull**** clips and videos before every walk on. I can't remember if it was a different format before?
