It is a soap opera that continues to provide story lines

Except that if a writer presented this storyline to the producers, they'd bin it citing nobody would ever believe it.

If I'm honest, I was hoping for a Rangers fans view.
    But thanks for the reply.

Ricks can only speak for himself every member of Rangers first had a vote I don't think it would be a popular decision

With the shares currently suspended it may not come down to a vote. If the company cannot appoint a Nomad within the 30 day time period or drag their heels in resolving the issues that led the previous Nomad to resign then the club will automatically become a private company.

I can see why people want the transparency that the stock market reporting brings but I don't think the stock market is the best place for a football club, particularly a club in the difficulties that Rangers finds itself in.

I believe the Nomad is in place but King and the others (who everyone forgets about) made the decisions soon that they are not going to announce it right away. I believe King will will look at the Ashley problem along with other financial irregularities that he and the fans believe have been happening as you say he has thirty days to announce it.
I can see where your coming from re the stock market big at the moment most fans want a transparency that has not been seen for a very long time

Daily Record would be a good start for him

Did I hear correctly that King wants to delist from the stock exchange? All those shareholders like turkeys voting for Christmas!

Might suit King to have the club private so no scrutiny of the money side

Probably because they're going to be kicked out of the Stock Exchange of they don't appoint a NOMAD in the very near future... but of course they want to voluntarily delist!

You do he has 30 days from last Friday not exactly in so near there has to be a panic
but as I have come to expect the scaremongering is rife among a certain group of fans

The 30 day period starts from point at which trading was suspended not last Friday

Ok a few days before. There will be one in place before the time is up. no one needs to worry it only the people with shares that would need to have any concerns. Plus I don't believe Donald Park would keep quiet about it.

But he had one lined up ready to start. Surely the "glib and shameless liar" wouldn't tell porkies to the people??

A few developments at Ibrox today.
Llambias leech and Easdale all suspended from the board pending investigation
Chris Graham of the RST along with John Bennet have been appointed as Non executive directors also James Blair of Rangers First has been appointed as company secretary
Things seem to be moving forward

Some pretty funny stuff on Twitter re. Chris Graham's appointment. Mainly from his own timeline.

Then of course there's the more toxic stuff:

Still though, he's a Rangers man there is no question. A return to old values timmy!

I think you will find many fans don't particularly like CG he seems to have a massive chip on his shoulder but he is a fairly good spokesperson. I personally am more pleased about the appointment of James Blair as company secretary a really straight talking guy who does not suffer fools gladly

I'm not having a go at your fans over anything here, just laughing at Chris Graham. Again.

Oh I realised that just pointing out how many of us feel. Don't get me wrong for some reason some think the sun shines out his arse.

Graham is a clown, it's farcical that he will sit on the board of a listed company.

Chris Graham seems to piss off a lot of Celtic fans :)

He and the RST have been instrumental lately in gaining massive support for fan involvement, his twitter stuff is mainly aimed at winding up the usual Celtic fans who have a go at him personally or at the club.

I'm pretty sure he's aware that his days of baiting the likes of Spiers on twitter are over.

Should he be sitting on the board of a multi million pound listed company?

He's there because he's good at winding up Celtic fans on Twitter and that's enough to placate a section of Rangers fans.

The reality of the situation is that money has been pumped into Rangers by ordinary people, their savings, their pensions and their futures rely on their investment being properly managed. I'm not sure a glorified troll should be a part of that.

Only gob****es would think the joke is on anyone but them.

    King is another White/Green

Hate these Rangers orange c***s more than anything as it is, and now they fcuked up my treble against Queen of the South. So hate them even more now. Well maybe it's for the best, as winning money on Ranger's, Linfield or "norn iron" is only blood money anyway

Been on the sauce tonight have we?

Have to say, never once in my life have I ever put R*ngers, Sevco, Linfield or Glentoran on any of my football dockets.... No matter what the odds were.

I dunno mate, as you can see most of us just laugh at his expense. In fact it would appear to be Rangers fans who are most pissed off by him.

    Good effort though.

Seems like you're a bit upset about something.
He's there because his work with the RST has been great (although I think that maybe a vote by season ticket holders or share holders would be preferential for anyone getting a seat at the table).

He's going to be a fan representative, did you think he'd be signing off on the transfers or something ?

Care to address my actual points?

I dont expect him to be signing off on transfers to answer your question.

I'd love to know what matters he will be representing on?

You've ruled out transfers, maybe it's the commercial aspect of the PLC, maybe he's appraising capital investments, maybe it'll be in the suitability of Rangers remaining listed or delisting.

Do you get it yet? This is real money belonging to real people who have real commitments. Plenty of this money came from working class people acting in good faith.

    They deserve more than tokenism.

I'm not sure racism would be classed as "baiting" on Twitter. He's frozen his account, but screenshots don't go away.

Slagging Muslims about the drawing of Mohammed, drawing his own pictures of Mohammed performing a sex act on Jar Jar Binks and sending it to a Muslim is not baiting, or banter.

But King did say he would take the club back to its roots, so for once we can't call him a liar.

Alleging that James McLean supports the murder of innocent women and children because he's against paying respects to the group responsible for Bloody Sunday seems pretty ironic, if not outright sectarian too. Playing to the gallery though I suppose.
