    Bored of the Bora?

    Bored of the Bora?

I wanted something a little simpler to work on and a little bigger to put my hockey gear into. Also, it was a mad bargain. It's also my first Golf, and my first estate, so it's very exciting.

Make sure to check the "today I did something to my car" thread tomorrow. ;)

Mk3s are harder work than your Bora.

Did you get rid of the Bora?

    Fascinating, how so?

It's going up for sale in a day or two.

I bought the Bora in Carrick-on-Shannon, and this Golf in Kildare. It's not like they are glued to Waterford or whatever. :P

Just better laid out, simpler, and less prone to rusty junctions (bolts etc)

TBH, I have been looking at rat cars a lot lately and I was half thinking about ratting it a bit, but it's so clean... such dillema, so scare.

Maybe. We'll see. I have a couple of things in mind before I consider ratting it.

Awesome, maybe you have seen it around. Although was like ~15km away from the town itself though and done only ~7k miles in the past 2 years.

Welcome to the estate club :pac:

    We're a grand bunch.

That's a nice Golf btw. I offered my gf the Lancia there a few weeks back for her to start driving in but she said no, so she'll get the Corolla now and I'll be looking for a Mk3 estate.

    Folks, need some advice.
I am currently in possession of a 2009 Vw Polo 1.4tdi . Its very basic and im not too gone on it.
Im after findind out that I could sell it and buy the 2010 model for the same money, the only difference is that it'll have a couple of thousand more km's than whats on mine!

Does anyone know what the 1.6tdi engine is like in the 2010 model car or what they are like to drive?
    (Thanks in advance!)

*These are photos from google, mine is a black 5dr with no alloys - the 2010 i'd be interested in would be similar to the second photo

Find it difficult to believe you'll get a GTI a year younger for the same money as a bog spec 1.4. But this is Ireland. And this is not the best thread for that kinda question. Try a new thread in the buying forum.

Sorry I meant to say that its not the GTI model im after, just the standard 1.6tdi but as a 3dr in white.. Probably not the right thread to put it in, but im sure ill find elsewhere :)
