Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Which crisps are the best crisps?

Tayto? King? Fancy ones like Pringle or what have ya?

I'm partial to Hunky Dory's myself! Failing that, King all the way!

One thing about Ireland is that crisps are taken seriously. There is no better accompaniment to a cup of tea, or between two slices of sliced pan that I can think of anyway!

So what say you, citizens of AH - which artery clogging morsel of deliciousness do you favour?

Is it just me or are no crisps as good as they used to be? Used to LOVE green pringles, but more they taste like caked on powdery crap. And cheese and onion tayto, used to be really nice, but now they're really fake tasting or something.

More likely your taste buds have copped on. They have always been caked and powdery crap so why would they taste any different.

Somebody Mentioned Snax - Snax have not been nice for years - I keep opening packets hoping my last was a mistake from the factory, but no...:(

I personally have had in the last 2 weeks a little battle going on where I alternate between crisps - Cheese and onion walkers, tayto, king and hunky dory's.

Now - tayto are very good, King are very good, walkers are slightly different but also good, nearly a more summery cheese n onion crisp if that makes sense. All 3 are snacks, where HD'S are nearly dinners!! I would nearly class them as a different type of crisp to the other 3. I cannot pick a winner, as they are all different and choose each when I need a particular snack!!

    Smokey Bacon - Tayto
    Salt n Vinegar - HD'S
    Steak flavours - McCoys

Burger bites are still as good as they used to be

On the SnV tho If I could still get "Mini Chips" They would take out HD's

    BBQ hula hoops rock

Currently having a bag of Meanies, they are still good but still meh!

King tastes slightly saltier and bolder I find.

There was a thread in Snacks and Sweets about Snax. Someone sent a message to the company, turns out they were trying something new. Always a bad sign when you see "new and improved" on the bag, fupping leave it alone!!!!

Hunky Dory's. Don't have them here though :(
I find the crisps here to be very greasy but they have mad flavours. Ketchup!

I had a bag of Walkers Sensations yesterday for the first time in years and they were rotten so King remains top of the pile.

Haven't seen them in ages but Discos cheese and onion were the business. Other than that, Kings cheese and onion is superior to all other brands.
