Any lads heading to GAA matches this weekend? Cavan play Down this evening at 7.

A win would be huge ahead of the grudge match against Kildare next weekend!

Will pop over to Newbridge tomorrow for a look.

Where's the grudge, Lemlin? Even though Mr. Johnston was absolutely useless, we won't hold it against you Cavan folk.

More magic from Harrington today. He's 3 ahead at the moment. Come on Paddy

The whole Johnston debacle plus the hammering ye gave us in Breffni that Summer.

Funny thing is, he's now trying his damndest to get back on the Cavan panel but they want none of him.

Kevin Phelan tied for the lead in South Africa... Could be a great weekend for Irish golf.

We might even claim Lydia (Ko) Keogh's win too :)

What a stacked leaderboard 22 within 3 of the lead.

Yep was brilliant. Some effort from the WIT lads, even more so when you consider the amount of game time they've had lately

Lads, what's a good app that allows me to use my free webtexts easily? I remember hearing of a few that sends your texts as webtexts.

Tied second for Phelan. Super result. Need Padraig to do the business now!

I'm not going to lie but this is better than if I were to captain Mickey Turner and he got a hat-trick :)

Biggest Sporting Hero ever for me!

7 years since he won - would love to see him do it. He's so close.

He won a European Tour event about 7 weeks ago :)

My bad - PGA tour commentary said 7 years! They either meant 7 weeks, or else they are very, very wrong!

They're just talking about the US Tour I guess.

Yeah that's probably what it was.

Pity about the 17th - still an outside chance.

Massive Putt on 18. Play-off now. Legend whatever happens!

Yeah even if he loses the play off, at least he played the 18th in style. Wouldn't be good for him to have the 17th as the lasting memory from that round.

Hopefully experience will count for Harrington here. This is a similar enough situation to his second Open: pretty wobbly coming down the stretch, followed by a playoff.

Berger won't have been in this kind of situation before (I presume!).

Another early start for the cricket. SA win the toss and will bat first. This one could get messy for us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,404 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

    Early SA wicket taken..
