Do you get peak drunk, as in, after a certain srage you get drunk and no matter how much more you drink you don't get any drunker.

No Mr Health minister I don't, I am not giving you an excuse to justify putting up the price of my booze. :pac::pac::pac:

That's just a perception you have because you're too drunk to realise. In the past (on a few occasions) I've felt invincible and then woken up with some sort of fracture and a black out.

Inbetween getting sick for the third time and soiling myself is where the pinnacle of inebriation is found.

Oh yeah I have that alright.

I have about nine pints and a few whiskies and then no matter how much more I'm told I drank after that I cannot for the life of me remember feeling any drunker at all. Of course peak drunkenness also coincides with an appearance of my superpower where I teleport myself home and straight into my bed without taking off my shoes. Only downside to peak drunkenness teleportation is that your wallet cannot make the leap with you but on your journey through the astral plain you acquire sunglasses, a feather boa and some illegible notes on the world's best idea for a movie that would totally make us f*cking loads of money man, we should make it man, we should, quit our jobs and just f*cking make it man. Also it burns some toast downstairs in your house and sets off your fire alarm.

Normally when I drink so much I mistake the fishtank for the shiitter. Thats peak intoxication for me

Peak drunkness is when you drink yourself sober.

I wish there was a way to limit how drunk you get so you can just keep that perfect happy buzz going during the night and not go past it, I'd probably drink more often if you could

I normally leave the pub with my head tilted back in case I spill

    Self control?

The idea of people being able to 'drink themselves sober' is surely false?

Sure you can plateau, because there's a physical limit to the amount of volume your body can hold or the amount of alcohol your cells can absorb. But that's a flat line.

The only thing that would make your intoxication diminish is if you stop drinking. Perhaps people who think they've drunk themselves sober have simply been too pished to recognize that they were slowing down their intake.

I just mean it's the nicest feeling at 6 pints relaxed confident mellow, after that it's just black outs and talking ****e to anyone who will listen.
