    What do you mean here?

They are the weights Ted has been alloted in the VOB and MP and the prices he is for both races. No point in second guessing Martin so backing Ted NRNB in both races.

What's the relevance of the weight he's carrying?

Do you know the mark he's been allotted?

if I was to pick a Tony Martin one in the handicaps, it'd be Edeymi.
runs off the same mark as when 4th to Dawalan at Musselburgh without being put into the race at all.

Doing that too, backed him when just beaten by Une Artiste in the Fred Winter

Arent weights generally based on the marks barring penalties and allowances?

    In the JH top weight is 11st12 @ 154, Ted is 11st1 @ 141???

Looks like Ted Veale has a chase mark of 144 up 4lbs from his last chase in Ireland.

I like the look of that Leopardstown Pertemps Qualifier - Lite Duties and Mydor but Mydor is a long way down the list.

Gallant Oscar is another I had my eye on but he's a long way down the old William Hill and the Kim Muir.

Also looking at the top 20 or 25 horses in the handicap for the Fred Winter, if even half of those run, it looks like been as good a Fred Winter as there's ever been.

I am invested in the RSA for The Young Master but anybody fancy him NRNB for the 4 miler at 10/1.

Also Vroom Vroom Mag at 16/1 NRNB also interests me.

Djakadam must have a real chance in the gold cup the thyester run giving lumps of weight away was top draw, would willie put a six year old in the gold cup if he wasnt sure he could be involved in the shake up almost sure ruby will ride this instead of last years runner up

Does anyone else find the names on some of the handicaps annoying?
When chatting to fellow punters about the Festival in the past, you could just say to him "oh Im backing (insert horse) in the William Hill. What are you backing in the Jewson"?
Now we have "So, what are you backin in the emmm, emmm, the handicap chase?" "Which one?" "You know...the one...the third race of the day, whatever its called??"

Some say its a foregone some say he wont be gotten of the bridle I say he is a deceiving monkey. If you are wondering what I am talking about its not a baboon its faugheen.

You can talk as much bollox about what hes beat as ya want but you wont pull the wool over my eyes. The fact is hes never beaten a race horse in his life most of them would be better of pulling ploughs around fields or used as feed greyhounds. Any time hes comes up against a semi decent race horse it just hasn't ran its race. The best performance of his career was winning in Punchestown when he was probably one of the fresher horses going there he hadn't a race all year. What he beat there was a bunch of handicappers all told. Bar valseur lido who had been to Cheltenham and fairyhouse which is hard going. The rest of them are nothing more than 140 horses and if you think any of the other horses in this race wouldn't do the same pack your back bags racings not your game. The next thing is he when the pressure comes on he starts to jump like a like a young fella getting a bating from his father. This wont do around the biggest dog track in Europe that is Cheltenham. They go off like scalded rats and there is no room for jumping errors here once he starts making mistakes hel have to get scrubbed along to make up ground while others fly past him when he packs it in. The next thing is the price currently 11/8 on betfair anyone backing that stop, go to a mirror and look at yourself look deep into your soul and ask yourself have I a problem because id say its long on you do. The fact is faugheen cant win and is the worst price that has possibly ever set foot on a race course. When istabraq won his first champion hurdle he was 3/1 just think about that. Only 1 horse has won the Christmas hurdle and gone on to win at cheltenham in the last 50 years fact.

The next orse in the betting is The New One hes been around for a while been to the big stage and done it. Last year he was robbed, the clowns will tell you he lacks the pace to win a champion hurdle. Unless you have a gaping hole in your head or you are just plain ignorant the horse was lucky to come away with his life after the ill fated our conor fell in front of him. Anyone who thinks you can do that in championship races and be capable of winning well I have nothing to say I just give up. To finish as close as he did was a very good performance all things considered. He has the best jockey in the race the nicest colours and is a total wrong price. At around the 3/1 7/2 mark hes an ew steal when the bookies go 1/4 of the odds in a race where maybe ten will line up. He Cant be unplaced and looks like a real star ignore his form this year on bogs doesn't show him at his best.

Now comes jezki a beautiful specimen of a race horse trained by a genius and ridden by a legend and owned bye a gent. For those with holes in there heads il just remind ye that this is the previous champion yes I know the third favourite go figure. Jezki has it all previous winner best jockey in the race and a total wrong price with good ground and a proper pace this is a different horse. The one thing this horse needs is a good gallop and that doesn't happen in Ireland the last time they went a good gallop was when we ran the tans out of the country. Hes been beaten this year in races where they potter about early on soft ground start to pick up 3/4 of a mile out and hurricane fly uses his miler speed to win the races not rocket science. All I hope is that off the 400+ horses Mr McManus has in training he doesn't use plinth to ensure a proper test. The thing is a pig and doesn't like racing he tried to pull himself up at Christmas and made a mess out of the race. If anyone is laying 6/1 about jezki they must like losing money even worse 6/4 a place if he stands up and is unplaced il bare my arse on O'Connel bridge because il have no clothes left to wear.

Next in the betting is hurricane fly some people say he is the greatest horse of all time arkle and kauto star must be turning in there graves. If you measure it on longevity maybe he is one of the better horses of recent times but sure even la Estrella has been on the go as long and has more wins.He wins small fields sprint beating dirt in Ireland mostly he has beat three horses in Ireland jezki solwhit and our conor the rest aren't up much and most of the field would do the same.Next people will say he has won a world record number of grade one if istabraaq was around today and won the same races hurricane did he would have 19 grade ones he missed a year in Cheltenham with foot and mouth where he was a penalty kick this would have brought his tally to 20 and he would have won 4 races in Cheltenham in a row and 3 champion hurdles. He doesn't act around Cheltenham he won two awful contests here but the two times theres been a few horses to beat he folded and chucked it in like faugheen will do. Hes now 11 and if you are backing him you are letting sentiment and madness cloud your judgement. One of the first things you learn betting is never fall in love with a horse so stop. Hel be struggling to place and probably a fair place lay.

The next one you come to is arctic fire a fine horse how he got beaten in a county hurdle I don't know. But I do question if this horse is a dodge when it comes down to it beat by shu lewis in kilarney when looking a moral same again when little king robin beat it, county hurdle similar story. Hes been flattered on his last two runs, running on when the race is over and making soft ground in the easiest place to do it. Hel like the good ground and fast pace but hel be doing well to place and if it looks like hel ever trade short lay him to win hel spit the dummy out.

The rest have simply no chance so the race boils down to 5 horses 3 with no chance of winning so my advice is to start robbing houses now and put all the money you gathered up into **** and lay faugheen. When you have done that go to credit unions banks and building societies get short term loans our deposit to **** and lay it for more. Now you ask your family for loans and back jezki and TNO ew it really is as simple as that. If you want more honest analysis tell me and give it a RT

Funny you should say that, for months Bet 365 had a market for the Bayliss and Harding Handicap Chase which was the race Holywell won last year, now it is called the Ultima Business Solutions. I would have thought sponsorships had been decided at least a year ago.

The Centenary is now called the Chaps Restaurant Barbados, the world has gone to pot.

Probably a link on it. I actually feel dumber for reading it. My favourite part was when he said Kauto Star would be turning in his grave

Not at all, it must have taken hours to write with the amount of tweets, they should spend more time studying the form
