This is as close as I've come to watching cricket :D

One more win, against Zimbabwe, might be enough but it's not necessarily the case. Could still come down to Net Run Rate, crickets version of points difference. We are one of only 3 unbeaten teams left however.

a little bit undeserved tbh...UAE lost their best bowler to injury and then another one and joyce was jammy as **** to have the bails stay on

Probably as well I wasn't in front of the computer for that finish!

I'll take jammy but Ed makes his own luck. He doesn't like being bowled so he used his ESP powers to keep the bails on. He'll let you catch him, run him out or be adjudged LBW but bowling him out just isn't on. :)

The fact that the Windies have demolished both Pakistan and Zimbabwe since we beat them probably means that our victory over them will mean less in the end. We'll definitely have to win one more and possibly 2 considering our run rate.

Can anyone recommend a decent pub in London centre to watch the game? I am hoping to avoid the obvious Irish and English spots as they will be jammed.

The Porterhouse in covent garden is the best place to go but it will be busy. If you get there early and get a stool it'll be good though.

Thats actually my back-up. Hopefully the Sunday game will reduce the crowds somewhat.

I actually live in London so was hoping to stumble across a hidden gem or two.

Ya that was the funniest bit of it, plus the woman who tried to explain what she thought the sex acts might be

Yeah had a fairly huge rib eye, misses had fish - can't remember what type but we both liked what we got.

I had potato skins for starter, unreal. They also have good beers btw.

It was a good feed, not too expensive - would go again for sure.

I'm going to Kai on Friday night. I intend eating their finest striploin and quaffing copious quantities of Montepulciano.

Oh wait, this isn't twitter? :o

We (work) had our Christmas dinner there. It was alright and no more than that.

On another note: Yun Thai off Grafton St, serious feed for €5.50!

    The owner/chef is a Kiwi ;)

Joe and Paulie ate there last week when the squad were in town... if it's good enough for them it's good enough for me!
