Would FR109 not head back towards Shannon? 15min hold at DUB and Shannon is open.

I'm about 15km from EIDW. The wind has calmed down considerably in the last 20 mins. The wind is now 280/290 with QNH rising rapidly. This event looks like it's coming to an end.

FR2312 Cleared to land at SNN.

Thought: FR109 being diverted to Dublin means that that aircraft will not be in Shannon for the SNN-STN leg, but if FR2312 gets down, will that Aircraft do the FR108 route?

Possibly. Or they will position it to SNN. It varies taking everything into account I guess.

Just looked at Met Eireann rainfall radar and the animated loop clearly shows the eye of the depression swirl its way over Dublin. It kind of explains why the winds gusted as strong as they did.
