did she make you sleep outside again?

I go straight from the bed to feeding cattle. So in about 3 mins I'm in a cozy bed to walking in a blizzard. Sometimes the body ain't quick enough to wake up.

This "spring" is shaping up like 2013 without the fodder shortages.

    Real big PITA.
We should be wrapping 22acres, but now it's a mess, so will zerograze it really soon to get it back in step with first cut.
    Should have known better...

Lashing in cork, grass in fields but will be looking at it for a while yet. Have to do an extra mix for milkers now as well with numbers up.

Feb last year was no great shakes and it turned out one of the best years I can remember.

Once we got into may 2013 wasn't bad either. This cold and heavy rain reminds me of that year is all I'm saying. Cows were out here today even yesterday for a couple of hours but a bit like another poster I was beginning to think we were home and hosed a week ago now the forecast hasn't much joy in it for the next ten days minimum.

Don't forget March, in like a lion, out like a lamb the saying goes as my mam used to say ....I think?

edit, feckin March is only a week away! Where does the time go?

I remember the end of 2013 people saying what a great year it had been, completely forgetting the terrible spring!

Power failure in main yard at 3:20am...took an hour and ten minutes to get genny up and running as one tractor wouldn't start...then a silly accident to the hand of a lady worker...taking her to hospital now as hand the size of a balloon. :(:(:(

    Feckin weather!
