What I can't understand is how there was such a hullabaloo about Twilight and yet this piece of crap seems to have not garnered anywhere near the level of scorn and ridicule that it undoubtedly did. Yet Twilight was obviously about a world where vampires and werewolves exist and so you would have thought it would not have been take so seriously and have it''s female characters submissive traits judged so harshly, but yet they were, boy were they. 'Bella Swan is such a bad example for girls, they way she fawns over Edward like that.. '. Fcuk the fcuk off.

Yet in this 50 Shades muck the character Miss Steele might not be guilty (from what I have seen at least) of fawning over Mr.Grey but she is without question a fake cnut. On one hand she is all miss independent, not materialistic (drives a Beetle, how could she be.. *fcuking roll eyes*) but yet when she sends Grey a message saying 'nice knowing you', he ignores this, breaks into her home and shags her but I guess as he is good looking, it's all fine.

She asks him to beat her (give me as bad as it gets, oh words to that effect) and when he gives just six slaps of a belt on their arse, she is in tears whining that he will never do that again to her, tells him to get away from her.. no wonder she was a 24 year old virgin ffs.

Miss Stelle may be an English major student who fends for herself and acts like she doesn't need a man (girl power) but she is a manipulative head wrecking bint and I hate her!

Can't wait to see the second one. I'm so ashamed of myself.

I read the first book and was so angry. It was so unbelievably cruel.......to the English language. I have seen better written stories by 6 year olds. If I ever hear of someone's breath hitching or biting their lip I will not be responsible for my actions.

Some of my friends want to go see it but no way will I be joining them. And I am a horny durt bird.

I've no problem with - and enjoy - erotic fiction, and do sexually enjoy many things in the books, but I'm no fan of books that romanticise domestic abuse.
