Fifty Shades……

So this might be moved. But I thought it might spark some interesting responses in AH.

Anyway, just finished the second book in the Christian Grey book trilogy "Fifty Shades…" which has opened my eyes a whole lot :eek:

For those of you who don't know what it's about, it's Mills and Boons cranked up 4000 notches, with all it's BDSM, the "kinky füćkery" an the likes. And the women are going wild for it!

The books are addictive. So so addictive. And in the conversations I'm havin with female friends and colleagues who have read these books, the consensus is that this is that it's all very very appealing.

So lads, are ye all ready for the hype thats gonna take over, that is the whole Dom / Sub thing, the BDSM, the "kinky füćkery" and what are your thoughts on this when your OH is making such suggestions???

(I'd be interested I know others' views on the books, for those who have read them).

I read the first book to see what the hype was about, there wasnt much of a story line minus the sex scenes there is only about 20 pages of a story. Without giving away spoilers i cant say to much on the 20 page story line...

The first book the sex scenes are mild nothing major, can someone really orgasm from just being hit with a horse riding whip???

The reviews I've read are enough for me. Lots of repetitive awful prose and one dimensional characters apparently. I read a few lines of the so-called sexy dialogue and it had me in stitches it was so bad.
