Southampton drawing with west ham as well.

I think this match fixing stuff has Herrera all messed up tbh.

That was our first penalty in the league this season.

Soton held against 10 man WHU as well, good result for us.

3 points for us, Southampton drop points, back in third.

Don't really care about the performance, been a good night.

A wins a wins a win but another very poor performance. I fear for us against the bigger teams.

    Embarrassing stuff in the end..

    Back up to third,

Second half was pretty average mostly meh, some nice play. Could really do with a vidic/Ferdinand/terry/kompany in defence

Southampton drawing nil all too...not a bad night with everything considered.

Smalling and Evans is not a good ventral pairing.
Rojo needs to be there in the centre.

I think at this stage Falcao might be dropped, and it would be best for all parties.

Perhaps Smalling could take him for a private session after training to show him how to finish ;)

Time to put Falcao back in the packaging me thinks, feel a lot more comfortable with Wilson's pace up front.

    Johnny Evans. My god. Atrocious.

    Always rated him as well.

Falcao was dross too. Thought RVP was much better in the second half, especially when he dropped deeper. Has that class to hold on to the ball and get out of tight situations.

Very poor overall but, hey third in the league. :)

    McNair played well yet again.

Di Maria looked a lot better in patches and he's obviously taken his final ball criticisms in hear to heart.

Rooney is the worst DM we've ever had. He needs to be sold.

Played septic in the first half but after Ings missed that chance in the second half,Utd improved a small bit,

Another three points in the bag.

Jesus even the lads on MUTV are conceding that we were outplayed and it was us playing like a team 2nd bottom...

Hell no bro. Just needs to go up front, that's it!!! Its really not as complicated as LVG is making it

Nope. He looked ****e tonight because he was.

Need to drop Falcao and play Rooney up top. Hererra in MF. That might mask some of the awful defending because we'll actually be scoring goals and making successful passes from MF>FW

How long can we go on playing like that and get away with it? We have a tough run of games coming up soon and if we continue to play like we did tonight against the better opposition we will see our top 4 hopes evaporate.

    The positives -
    McNair was decent
    Smalling was decent
Di Maria is back running at defences from midfield which is freeing up space and causing problems

    The negatives -
Pretty much everything else was a negative IMO.
A special mention goes out to Jonny Evans who outdid himself, reaching new levels of sh1tness.

Also, Rojo needs to play in the centre of defence in every match. He is our best central defender by a mile and is wasted at LB.

Nope embarresed that Manchester United were outplayed by Burnley at Old Trafford .. At times tonight the crowd were turning, any more of this shít and the place will go absolutely mad.

Win is a win. As I said a few days back, I'd rather be playing bad but 3rd than playing well but not able to crack the top 4.

    Leave them off so.

We are in third. Would you have taken third last summer with 5 points off second. Course you would.

Bring back 4-4-2 we looked so much more comfortable in this formation. Herrera was good when he came on.

Shaw was suspended, Rojo will be back at CB next time out
