Wrll it's getting very good reviews from the other side of the Atlantic.

Cursed twitter, I should've stayed well clear of it.

"So in the next scene we have a singalong involving Bob, Lizzie, Mika, The Governor and Beth on guitar......"

It's at this point that the other writers in the room probably should have spoken up. They didn't. :p

didnt like that episode to be honest.

    I am
    suprised Tyreese diead

    I also really hated
all the flashing back and forward and hallucinations, found it quite difficult to follow

An oddball of an episode which mixed the good with the bad but overall because of how it ended will stay with me for a long time. The scene when the car slowed and they dragged Tyreese's body out was so powerful. And when they showed his little hat on his grave I'm not ashamed to say that more than a tear or two sprung to my eye! Even though it had been flagged during the episode it was still shocking to see him die.

That ending packed way more of an emotional punch than Beth dying. He was just such a lovable character if a bit mishandled in comparison to the version of him in the comics (but that's another discussion). But I thought he would have been around a lot longer in the show and I hope it doesn't suffer as a result.

The hallucinations scenes were fairly ridiculous (Beth's singing is just laughable) but the bite scene was maddening...how did he let his guard down like that, especially knowing there was another walker in the room next door?!

Apparently two months has passed on the show since Beth's death so it will be interesting to see how losing her and Tyreese in such a short space of time affects the group. Also, I wonder what the 'wolves not far' sign means...a group of savages out on the road perhaps? It seems the group are now going to Washington after all so hopefully things can get moving.

I liked it bit all over the shop and not much more than filler bar the untimely demise. Episode dragged a small bit in the middle, loved the slowmo scene thought it looked class and the end was kinda sad.

No idea why they did the show the future at the start thingy, just seemed pointless doing it as a one off, nice episode to ease back in but they could do with a pacier episode next or at least one with some plot development.

What's the deal with the van full of zombie torsos? Odd one that. Was wondering why there were just legs and arms left at the hole in the wall.

I thought that was very very good - utter despair seems to be setting in as they really don't know what the hell they are going to do now. Surprised to see such a big character going... what I take from them showing those who have already died is that however far they run, how many they kill, however good or bad they live ... they are all doomed to the same faith.

Yeah and all the scorch marks around the houses in the gated community they found made it somewhat clear that there were other humans involved in the destruction.

Also, what was the story with the radio? Is there some sort of government after being formed or was that part of the hallucinations? A throwback to his childhood when his father listened to the radio in the car? The accent sounded English so it didn't really make sense.

black guy dies first this season. Was very very unimpressed.

I took it that the radio was in his head and it was repeating what he hears at the beginning of the outbreak. I think it had something to do with the point he made about staying put, listening to the radio but it ultimately led to the death of his wife or somebody

Another character I feel no connection with dies, boohoo. :) Voted a 5, poor stuff imo. Somehow I feel the conversations about there past lifes not believeable/real, whether thats poor acting or a poor script, or both. Get an awful urge to skip those scenes

Fairly glad Tyreese bought the farm tbh! In the comics, the character was amazing. In the show, he was a whiney bore. Every episode, he had a face on him when pretty much ANYTHING happened. I'm surprised he made it this far.

Extremely disappointed with that. It brought nothing to the show imo. They killed off a relatively good character just for the sake of it. Terrible start to the second half of the season, and definitely one of the worst episodes so far. The only redeeming part was the slow mo scene near the end.

I was thinking, once they saw the legs and arms of the zombies by the hole in the wall, that some fooked up people had strapped bombs to the chests of the zombies and used them as walking dynamite. Nope. Nothing that interesting. And then have a car full of the torsos. Unless it goes on to explain that, it was a wasted opportunity.

I don't really care about Tyrese to be honest. I found his annoyingly long hallucination/death scene to be very tedious.

I found this to one of the best episodes of the show in my opinion. The editing and the way it was put together was very much to my liking.

I'd say it will continue very straightforward after this. Travelling, fighting zombies etc.

At least there is someone who agrees with me - I thought the episode was brilliant and a change away from simply killing the walkers.. I think it shows how the show is entering the despair/no hope phase.

Just another crap actor....show is awash with them, bar Rick /Daryll /the Guvnor and a handful of others it's mostly ham and cheese

The problem is they have all amalgamated into one character. Describe them....seriously. How much range is an actor allowed to show here?

Rick. Well he's a former cop who through a serious of harrowing experiences has become a battle hardened survivor, but he still has a conscience.

Carl. Well he's a former brat who through a serious of harrowing experiences has become a battle hardened survivor, but he still has a conscience.

Daryll. Well he's a former bum who was always a battle hardened survivor, but through a serious of harrowing experiences has become a group member with a conscience.

Glenn. Well he's a former nerd who through a serious of harrowing experiences has become a battle hardened survivor, but he still has a conscience.

Michonne. Well she's a former mom who through a serious of harrowing experiences has become a battle hardened survivor, but she still has a conscience.

Carol. Well she's a former abused wife who through a serious of harrowing experiences has become a battle hardened survivor, but she still has a conscience as evidenced by her anguish over the prison murders.

And so on and so on. I'm not saying any of them are Oscar worthy, but the cast are all so similar at this stage that it can be tough to show your acting chops unless you are over doing it like Andrew Lincoln does.

Apart from the short slow-mo bit, which was excellent, I thought that although different it was a poor episode, one event stretched out to fill an episode. Bye Tyreese, you'll not be missed.

it wasn't from the start of the outbreak, it was the news that was on the radio that he remembered from a time he was with his dead when he was little, about some grim thing that happened in some faraway place.
