Real Madrid must be laughing that we paid £60 million for the worst corner taker in world football.

The guy is a class act however he is being mismanaged along with the rest of the side at the moment.

I don't think we're being outplayed here in normal play. West Ham are only threatening from set-pieces. Our attacking play, however, has been poor

I agree but meltdown is default for some posters on here.

We really should have bought another striker in January.

Rooney needs the help in midfield.

    Put Herrera on.

Phil Jones ****s his pants everytime he gets the ball, Blind is there but the ball keeps going back to De Gea

Not sure why its meltdown IMO...some denial in here

We have been playing like this for weeks, predictable ****e with **** all creativity going forward and nearly always the cause of this is lvg making simple decisions look so complicated like playing players in the incorrect positions

He was allowed to do a few solos while spinning around in our six yard box before volleying it in.

    United are horrible to watch.

I'm having an existential crisis watching this tripe. What am I doing with my life spending 90 minutes a week watching this awful team that don't give a damn.

I agree. We have Di Maria, Mata, Falcao, Rooney and Van Persie in the team but we are absolutely useless in terms of creating chances. Its down to improper management and tactics. Rooney should not be in midfield. We have other options there so its not down to necessity. RVP has been off the boil for a while now, why can't he be benched and stick Rooney up front where he belongs? As long as we keep playing like this with players wedged into positions that don't suit them we will struggle.

Watching United under Van Gaal is like watching 4 down in American football stretched out over 90 minutes.

Lateral, incremental gains in the hope that you'll eventually get over the line at the end of it.

Utterly devoid of flair, imagination and spirit.

Lvg has to realise sometime that Rooney hasn't worked out as e thought he would in midfield

Just not going to work out for Falcao here no matter how many excuses we make and how much we want him to.

Agreed, based on performances thus far it would be insane to pay the transfer fee and wages for him, couldn't ever justify it.

My god we are painful to watch. Its hard to support LvG even if we do get top 4.

LVG has a lot to answer for at the moment

Falcao and RVP dont work together
Rooney is still not a midfielder
Playing only 1 midfielder is stupid
Bringing on Fellaini and playing him higher up that Rooney is also stupid

His performances have been very good. Just not the final product

He's an out and out striker, goals are what he is judged on.

Its difficult to say LvG deserves a second season in charge. There's not much between us and being back in 7th. The boot was moving behind Moyes by now.

Shaw got a 2nd yellow and was very lucky it wasn't a straight red.

yes and if he reffed consistently Song should have seen yellow 6 mins in and been off halfway through the second

Shaw's red was Solskjaer-esque. We sent most up for the free-kick and might have been caught on the counter.

    He did the right thing.

Falcao and blind were our only two players who looked desperate to win today. Di Maria looks terrified anytime anyone comes near him and Rooney was absolutely dreadful again
