We have Burnley at OT on Wednesday night. That's pretty much a guaranteed 3 points unless something goes drastically wrong.

I know we all keep saying it but if we can get the win tomorrow it would really give us a boost and a bit of breathing space, especially after today's results.

Liverpool v Spurs, West Ham v Southamption too - a United win and a draw in both would be lovely!

Bale got awful stick from his own fans today, hopefully they keep it up so there might be a chance in the summer

I think the Varane love is very misplaced tbh, especially wanting him over a far more suitable candidate for what we need

3 points is not essential, but if honest, if we drop points tomorrow that gives others a lift again.

We need to be winning these types of games tomorrow.

Time to get bit more ruthless.

It's West Ham, and we're Manchester United. 3 points or bust.

3 points or 1 would be a better target.

Any team news for tomorrow...I still have that injury list paranoia going on from last year....expecting someone to be unavailable

Its only Carrick. Rafael is pretty much back he played Monday night for under 21.

Could LVG be brave tomorrow and start Mc Nair at RB?....he has much better delivery than Valencia. That would be in a back 4.
    What are chances of
    Mc Nair. Smalling Rojo Shaw
Heard Jones was v poor the last night.

Put few quid on Liverpool and delighted to have lost it.

Spurs win was the better of the 2 evils for me. Southampton playing bad or not got huge 3 points.

You can get all his press conferences on YouTube, here's yesterday's

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvs9shgM-rI

On Varane,; yeah he was poor today, but Real were a shambles. Everyone played poorly. He's still only 20 or 21. One of the best in the world for his age and will improve. I'd love if we signed him. He reads the game well, has great pace and a bit of class about him in possession.

I'd imagine he'll go with Rafa surely had a runout with the U21s last day minus the face mask and should have full match fitness or thereabouts.

A win tomorrow and Wednesday with the Spurs/Pool drawn and West Ham beating Saints would be the ideal situation.
Would give us a bit of breathing space.

Its a bit harsh in fairness pause it just as the ball is struck, he has two players in his line of sight, he sets himself up for a big dive towards the post assuming the players in front would cover middle of goal and then cant adjust in time, maybe he doesnt adjust in time but if the ball goes anywhere else it hits off him. Bit of a perfect storm about it maybe he could have done better nothing to hang him over though imo.

He rode another man's team a Southampton. Never really had to build a team, same with Spurs. He's easily the most overpraised manager around when his teams are in form.

He improved another man's team and is doing so again.

Big game tomorrow in the fight for 3rd and 4th with results today a win will go a ways to solidify our charge. Southampton still looking decent and Spurs in fine form and Arsenal will be there and abouts. With City stuttering a bit anyone see us getting 2nd if we can kick on or what odds you might get ?

If we can get results from the winnable fixtures coming up we should be there or there abouts we need to go on another streak now while the other top teams are playing each other in the next few weeks but as it stands now we are definitely in race for second.

    Cos they are dicks.

Was looking up stats for Rooney vs West Ham earlier.

In 20 games against them he has 18 goals and 5 assists.

Ive drafted him into my FF team and made him captain.

    Thank me tomorrow.

If we get our shít together tomorrow and take the 3 points we'll have them under real pressure before Yaya gets back, so I don't see why not. Can't imagine Yaya will play on Wednesday and Stoke away is a tricky one for them!

Precisely none of those goals came with him playing in the centre of midfield so you're wasting your time.

I believe Louis will play him up front with Falcao.

    I wish!

Judging on what LvG was saying recently, he'll be playing in midfield for a while.
