He won't get another £150 million.

    You gonna answer my question?

Well as I said there needs to be a big decision made in the summer regarding his performance before they give him a wad load of cash to blow again.

We ain't played like Manchester United in years now.

Ain't seen many games in last few seasons that taught wow.

Do wonder when and what is gonna make this team click again like we used to.

Where 4th in the league things could be worse but where a team that should be battling at the top and destroying teams like Cambridge.

Makes u sad when you watch the likes of Real and think how we used to play and how we where feared by any team in the world.

I hope those days ain't as far away as they seem right now.

Already seen 1 poster wanting van gaal out.

I just can't get my head around those posts. Am I te deluded one?

I feel like I'm the only positive poster left, or else the rest are getting drowned out by the rest.

A draw against Cambridge, not the end of the world. I don't think the we will see the same lethargic complacent performance at old Trafford.

I don't understand it myself but there will always be people like that. Yeah, it's a pissy poor draw away to Cambridge on a Friday night. It will be forgotten about after the replay and we'll move on.

Shaw should have come on earlier and that should have seen Blind moved into the middle to help Carrick.

Help Carrick?? More like replace him. If we need to play two defensive minded middle of the park players against Cambridge then we are truly fukd. Jones is going to get slated for giving possession away but in fairness Carrick, Fellani Janazuai and Di Maria were rubbish in front of him. If Keane or Scholes were playing in front of him they would gave been demanding the ball from him
Our defense is getting stick week in week out but imo its the middle third thats the problem.

Can't believe LVG is having a go at the referee!! Bizarre stuff but I suppose there always has to be someone else to blame apart from him.

LVG won't get sacked . At the end of the day, Cambridge were always going to get 9-10 men behind the ball but we controlled the game in the second half and had a few decent chances to win it.

Not everything can be placed on Van Gaal. The lack of players going on creative runs is baffling and as a result we seem to pretty much attack as we are in our formation and it's just so predictable, slow and easy to stop even for a League 2 side. Carrick, Fellaini, Blind, Valencia all looked completely disinterested tonight.

It would take a **** up of Moyes proportions to get the sack, and he wouldn't go quietly into the night like DM did either. He's not going to get binned for trying to sort out a huge mess.

He's implementing a style, we all knew this would take a while and losing almost the entire squad a couple of months ago set us back a bit. Very hard to build something when half the starting XI changes week on week. People need to relax.

I reckon in private, some of the players are being blamed.A few like Jones couldn't pass the ball 5 yards.A few of these won't be here next season.Time after time certain players are getting their chance, mainly due to the lack of options but they aren't taking them. You can't blame the formation on players being sh1te week in,week out.

At least now we have some concrete news on a new signing.

Falcao is wasted at United atm. All them great runs and no one to put him in. Of course people will call him a flop but he is doing what he did everywhere, just United cant make anything for him.

100% agreed. Still think he should be resigned and we need to work on getting him service. Criticism of him is like the criticism of RVP earlier in the season. He wasn't getting goals or doing anything because he wasn't seeing the ball at all.

I think LVG just has to play 4 at the back and select what he thinks is his very best team with Rooney up top.. start them 3,4,5,6 games in a row - win, lose or draw.. This chopping and changing is killing us - just look at Chelsea, week after week almost the exact same team.

Nothing fancy but attack, play the dangerous pass and take risks.. If this type of tripe continues in OT the fans will get unsettled very quickly. We often had poor performances under SAF but we were always almost guaranteed to score .. Playing nice football is fine but winning is what its all about.

Am I right in saying the replay will be around the 3rd/4th February?

Sport Net are not the only ones with the claims, Laola (Austria's biggest sport media outlet) are carrying them too and it originally comes from Kronen Zeitung newspaper.

If he can play even a modicum of football that's a grade higher than what we see from the likes of Smalling,Jones & Evans these days,he'll do.

People are being way too harsh on Blind for not getting the ball into the box imo. The team have only just started back to playing a back four, so having overlaps down the wing has only just returned. And he's hardly played any FB/WB since he's arrived. It's all about understanding with the teammates to read their runs. It doesn't just happen, it takes practice and time.

Hopefully the Dragovic rumours are correct and we replace Jones.

Put in a bid for Cuadrado too...

    Buy Falcao.

West Ham on the 8th Feb will tell us an awful lot as to where we are in the race for top 4 .. BIG few games coming up for LVG and the team.

Is cuadrado getting game time with madrid?
Be nice if we could get him for 10-12 million as long as there isn't much left on his contract

You don't need to understand team mates in fairness, he has falcao making class runs blind just needs to put the ball in their to give falcao a chance. He never took a single risk tonight, needs to step up his game, he is playing for man utd now not Ajax

Plays for Fiorentina, and costs a lot more than that, £25m to £26 million maybe.

Pro F Its about getting your head up and putting the ball in. A 10 year old would be coached that.

    .................De Gea.............
    Rafael Jones(sigh) Rojo Shaw
    .................Carrick...............
    ......Herrera..........Di Maria......
    ..................Mata...............
    .........Falcao........Rooney......

I think is my preferred lineup, would love if Jones/Smalling/Evans were replaced this window

Emphasis on passing the ball and trying to get our unbelievable array of talent into shooting positions rather than crossing all of the time would be nice

Does anyne know anything about Dragovic?
I get the frustration with our current CBs but if they are to be replaced it needs to be the right replacement and not someone in just for the sake of it.

An apparent Austrian United fan on reddit claims the sources are highly reliable. Have to wait and see I guess.

Jones would be good if he could pass the ball, he was making nice runs forward but then the most awful passes...honestly can't think of a worse passing performance from a United player, when it was a simple pass that was involved.

Austrian international, of Serbian ethnicity, played for Basel and was in their team that got to the Europa semi finals that lost to Chelsea, he missed the second leg of that semi final.
Moved to Dynamo Kiev and is highly regarded and is 23 years old. Scores the odd goal.
    Can pass a ball.
