I'd heard a lot of younger Japanese men do it to the extent that men's bathrooms there are being built with less urinals and more cubicles.
Anyway, looks to be gaining traction in Germany too since it actually went to court that at least one land lord expects his male tenants to sit

I always pee standing up but I always do so in a cubicle as opposed to a urinal.
How so many lads can live without wiping the tip of their weiner after peeing is something I will never understand.
