hi lads just wondering has there been any update on this havent been on the forum in quite a while and cant find any recent info no looking to start a huge discussion or anything just im thinking about a rebarrel and wondering whats the situation as i could decide what caliber ill get

Nothing.

No new law, no new progress. It's been put on the back burner for the last 2 years. Constantly delayed and postponed.

It's in the Garda proposals and will be discussed (to whatever length i'm not sure) at the meeting on Wednesday.

I've no idea lad.

All i can say is this. With all the crap going on, and not just firearm stuff, they (Gov) are looking at patching up what they have to deal with, and ignoring the rest. SO when this might come around is anyone's guess. Frustrating to say the least.
