    What's with the amateur cameraman?

Awful zooming during the conversation bits

Awww, I thought they'd go for the fish'n'chip shop!

What'll they do with the deep fat fryer now?

Sadly, John seems to have made his decision ...

It's a shame. John seems to be a great numbers man with a real eye for detail. Things like signage and menus - he knows what works and what doesn't

It could go on without John but it wouldn't be as good IMO.

    I agree.
I love what John brings to the programme too, and watching the two of them chatting.

Or maybe they borrowed a shed-load of money from the bank?

    What's with the snide remark?

Nothing worse than trying to work with someone who changes their mind everytime you talk. Nothing ever gets done.

Those daughters have great patience

The Da should be taken out and locked in the shed while they do the works, and then only let back in the kitchen where he's clearly very good!

It looked like there was visible dirt under his nails when he was cutting the veg. Yuk!

I have no idea how that business is still open. He must have money elsewhere because he doesn't seem to have any idea of the value of anything, and he could afford to spend €30000 on equipment that lay there idle. Jesus I feel bad if I buy a €10 top in Penney's and never wear it! No way is he/the family just depending on that business.

Jesus relax, the attitude to money was all, no costings on the herb garden extension, 30k thrown at a fryer and never used, pile of antiques in the corner, he seems like a lad who never has to budget when an idea comes into his head is all Im saying.

Aye, but when it's in one conversation from the same person it wears you out!

The father will run the business into the ground with his carless spending.

They just don't seem to have any sort of business heads at all amongst them.

Looks so much better though, the colour scheme is fab.

Well now that's quite the transformation!

I'd have killed the Da by about 10 minutes in. He reminds me of mine!

(Except that he wouldn't spend Christmas. Bit different I suppose......)
