Ya ourselves and Aston Villa are the only two in the League not to get a penalty as far as I know.. Amazing stat really.. Remember the pool getting penalties every other match last year.

Not amazing at all, we rarely get into the oppositions box to get rewarded with a penalty.

Will be interesting to see if there is any movement on the transfer front this week - given the supposed transfer summit last week. May not get anyone in, but will be interesting to see if we try to.
I have absolutely no clue whether this is accurate but on Twitter I seen MEN supposingly quote LVG that he expects no major transfer activity.

saw that too - but I pay very little attention to what managers, agents, owners etc say to the public.

No point in saying what I have to say as most have said it already.

    Was very happy for Falcao.

Thought he put in a great shift. Just needed a goal. He needs to start.

To be fair any leaks out of United in terms of transfers seem to be majorly curtailed after the Moyes mess .. They could very we'll be working on things behind the scenes with even the top journalists not having a clue.

A number of journos ran with the 150million spree story (for January/Summer) at the same time in the last week. I would imagine they had that briefed to them, I would guess by Woodward. Probably as a reaction to the Southampton result and performance.

May have ask some united supporters a few questions?

    Di.Maria - worth 68 million?

Falcao - scored as many goals as Lambert is he any good?

Lvg - better than Moyes ?

No player is worth 68 million

Falcao is on a different planet to Lambert.

Certainly more ballsy. We're 4 places higher in the table than this time last year so that speaks for itself.

Nobodys worth 68m, but is he a good player? Yes, when played in position.

Falcao has about three 90min games. He's good.

LVG right now is very stubborn. He said today we are better offensively overall with a dimaond 4 in MF but weaker overall, thats why he goes 3 at the back. I'll hold my judgement until he has exactly the team he wants in and playing a back four.

That first half was the most annoying of the whole season. I was ****ing disgusted at half time.

Where did the £68 million figure come from?

    Utterly bizzare questions.

Southampton last week annoyed me more, especially when we went a goal down I knew we were f'ed.

Isnt that the fee or thereabouts when add-ons etc are added?

Realistically we won't get next to near Chelsea and City at the end of the season - for top 4 would we prefer a city victory tomorrow? .. and generally City and Chelsea to beat those around us??

    1. Hard to say - he looked a top quality player when playing in midfield prior to his injury. Return from injury, and playing up front has been poor for him. It isn't a position he looks at all comfortable with - a waste of his talents.

    2. We've not seen the best of him and i can't see United spending 40million on him based on what we have seen. He has been hampered by not having a proper preseason of match fitness for much of his time at United so far - and playing in a side that is predictable and slow in a 532 that doesn't suit them. Our forward play (and thus the forwards) have been hampered by conservative and generally poor football. the service to the strikers has been crap, it is hard to blame them for a lack of goals.

    3. In terms of results, nope. In terms of baffling decisions, it is about the same. I do, however, have far more faith in LVG to get it right than Moyes - and the fact the players do seem to be playing for him (if poorly) is a big part of that. The players are still with him, which is a big reason I am.

Like I said the other day its not the quality of player.

Its the wrong players, with wrong tactics and poor formations and baffling calls like a CB taking corners.

We have the players maybe bar a decent CB. Injuries have not helped, but the poor performances especially since Liverpool game is not good enough.

They are talking about the money adidas are paying us in sponsorship - not some marque player fund, that I reckon would be hard to get past FFP...

I think it was yourself that commented on the fact all our games over the past month should be wins-even Spurs. The formation and keep ball for the sake of it have led to some piss poor results. The one constant in all these games is play the ball to within 25 yards of the goal then look for a pass out wide.Far too easy to defend against and very one dimensional.

There's ways and means,we are one of a select few who can do it.I reckon the money from Adidas has been ringfenced for transfers and it's in our interest to have marquee names to "promote the brand".

I would doubt it is ringfenced, but I wouldn't be surprised if adidas were a little demanding to have a few proper star names playing in their very expensive kit. More Di Marias, less Valencias.

Imagine the new ad campaign,Tony V testing fullbacks shinguards by blasting balls against them while wearing Adidas boots.

    352 is ridiculous

Phil Jones taking corners is ridiculous

Rooney playing midfield is beyond ridiculous

Using Di Maria as a striker because he's fast is ridiculous

    Today was a bad day
