Just got back home and you know what, I'm not even surprised to hear that it was another game of bullshit managerial decisions and another abject performance. It will probably be the same next game as well.

LVG would do well to remember that the United managers position is a job, not a vanity project.

"Louis van Gaal believes second-half tactical changes at Loftus Road paid off for #mufc"

All we can hope is he has seen the light after that 1st half shít.

I worry the worst thing to happen LVG was that little unbeaten run we had, because for all the talk of Top 4 being the target at the start of the season, it seems some people now have decided actually that isn't good enough now and we should be doing better....

We say this after every game though.

We say this after every game though.
It's simple though .. If he does that in OT and the style of play is the same then the fans will force him to change it.

I missed it actually .. Turned it on at 1-1.

On top of the formation and weird selections, something that really annoys me is the awful movement from the midfield and forwards. I think the only reason the team looked better as the game wore on was because QPR were chasing it. And it was only QPR after all. Very poor.

Also, a CB taking corners and two CBs in the wall at times. Weird, weird stuff.

Rooney had a stone wall penalty in the first half too - refs are determined not to give us absolutely anything!

They didn't have the stones to go against fergie but are very brave since he left. Nothing like a rampaging red nosed Scottish docker to intimidate a referee!

    Not in the slightest!

I certainly think refs have generally been harsh against us since SAF left although the standard of refs in the PL is gone to shít ... Remember Rafael getting rugby tackled to the ground (against Leicester I think) and the ref waved on .. If that was SAF in charge he would have torn the ref apart.

The commentators mentioned we haven't had a penalty awarded for us this season. Is that true?

Ya ourselves and Aston Villa are the only two in the League not to get a penalty as far as I know.. Amazing stat really.. Remember the pool getting penalties every other match last year.

Speaking of penalties.. Newcastle should have had one against Southampton just now.

I'd imagine a big reason why is that this season the team are rarely in the opposition box

Tbf, we've been lucky to not concede a few more pens this year. Last week Smalling was hanging out of Pelle every corner

I hate the way sky make such a deal of it when it's a United player - it happens in every single game now!

Southampton very lucky to take all 3 points on that game. Newcastle denied a stonewall penalty too in the last couple of mins.

Very annoying not to see them drop a few points there.

That penalty decision was just terrible.. What in the name of God did the ref think happened?? Refs bottling it big time lately - serious need to sort things out.

Shocking penalty decision. As stone wall as they get. He put his hand up beside his head and blocked it. If a keeper made that save you'd be complimenting his reflexes.

It showed the team does have the potential to play well enough to be up there with City and Chelsea. The regression has coincided with the switch to 5 at the back from what I can see too. The pinnacle was the Liverpool and Hull games, the Liverpool game because it represented a huge swing over the performances last season against them and the Hull game because of the fantastic overall team play and control shown that day. The last few performances compared to them have been night and day.

To a large extent you need to earn your penalties, by surging into the box and forcing defenders to make mistakes. They are a consequence of attacking play, but we are creating absolutely feck all, so its not really a surprise that we aren't forcing any penalties either.

Delighted for Wilson. Put in a good shift. Unlucky not to have a couple of assists as well. Though him and Falcao looked our most compatible pairing up top this season. Now that hes got the goal monkey off his back I can see LVG starting him again.

Needs to bulk up somewhat but hes only 19. Give him another couple of seasons with enough first team football and he could be anything! When he develops fully he can be a big player for us.

I hope some journalist asks him about his reasoning behind Phil Jones taking corners. Incredible stuff.

I cant think of one reason why he would do that.

wanted a right footer taking it that wasn't Rooney, Falcao, Carrick or Valencia. Surely it is the only reason there could be.

Will be interesting to see if there is any movement on the transfer front this week - given the supposed transfer summit last week. May not get anyone in, but will be interesting to see if we try to.
