That was EI RJX from CDG yesterday afternoon :P

Just watched it back. Indeed it was :)

There must be a sale on in the Pavillion or something? I see the Ryanair before it inbound from Liverpool stopped off for a bit of shopping too

Very unusual to see Ryanair aircraft glitch like that on Flightradar!

Another Ryanair there (from Tenerife) just landed in the Phoenix Park. :pac:

It's currently making it's way through Cabra.

This has to be a fr24 error I think

Something must be up with FR24! It has either just landed in a field or something is amiss. It says it's under T-EGLL21 FR24 radar so it probably has landed at Heathrow. Really strange!

Thank god for that, PlaneFinder has it in the same position!

Phew that relieves me completely now :D So it's not just fr24...Planefinder had the same thing, must be certain aircraft or the radars

Jordanian 787 livery is gorgeous. Eastward-bound over NI

    http://fr24.com/RJA264/54b2916

If the winds are right it should be back over NI about 16:00 today. Hope the light holds for some pics.

The ever-erratic FR24 route database thinks this Thomas Cook 757 is heading from Manchester to Glasgow...

    http://fr24.com/TCX752P/54b7c9e

But he's up on 129.100 MHz heading for the Atlantic. Presumably a positioning flight, but whereto? Seems an expensive use of an empty 757.

We used to be able to submit route corrections to FR24 but now the compuer knows best

The numbers "752" are clearly generic for a 757 ferry flight. G-FCLJ was withdrawn from service and stored in November 2014.

Thanks for that - gave me the vital clue that led to a solution!

Maybe going to supplement those two for Westjet?

OH! Perhaps not. Perhaps more final than that...

Potential change of Registered Ownership in progress

At 1625Z has commenced descent inbound to BGR (Bangor ME), a regular port of entry for aircraft destined for somewhere deeper into the US.

That's interesting. It's one of BA's two A318s that does the LCY-SNN-JFK-LCY route.

    Gone now.

Could be another 757 off for freighter conversion on its way to FedEx. They bought a few of the Thompson 75s so far.

Their was engine trouble with the A318. I doubt its actually going to JFK, but has that callsign.

BAW3 went tech a few days ago, taking advantage of the long runway at Gatwick to hop the pond in one and reposition

Its positioning to New York? That seems stupid?

    Yeah, that's what I thought.

I don't know, it does seem a bit weird. Did BA1 fly today?

    Anway, it's a positioning callsign.

No it didn't fly today, although is the peak season their is usually a BA1 but no BA3.
On Sundays their is no BA1 but their is a BA3.
LCY has more restricted opening hours on the weekends.

Only 1 aircraft is required for the weekends.

Why do you consider it stupid?

Would it not be better to wait until the next scheduled service to fly it with Pax rather than flying across the atlantic with none?
Its not even needed in JFK.

So what would you do with the passengers in JFK? Its an expensive flight so they have to show that its reliable.
