perhaps we should organize a night where most of the IRL guys are on so we can make a better attempt at this team play stuff!

Damn right we should, there's only so much myself, Keith, Paul and Okram can do :D

My hours are back to normal after the Xmas bollòx so Monday and Wednesday nights usually work me. Can't guarantee Saturday or Sunday nights, but can definitely rule out Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Might be on late tonight if I make it back from Slipknot in one piece :-)

Right lads I'll be the first to admit I haven't been pulling my weight around here. As a relative noob I got too used to the lone wolf approach but lately I've been working on the teamwork side of things with randomers and as such, I'd be up for my grand return to the IRL squad if ye'll have me... I'm better than I was before but probably shíte in comparison to y'all...

If that was directed at me then I'm up for it. What game types do ye play? I pretty much only play conquest but a change of scenery might do me the finest.

Well we had a few good games last night even though we were on different teams but the lads that were managing the vehicles were horrible. Between helicopters flying into trees, Tanks evolving into submarines and the AA trying it's arm at flying.

I really wish I was recording some of that game on Lancang Dam

First 3 clips are from last night.

Nice of you to include the footage of you selfishly cutting me off in the tank :pac:

I just looked at my headset and made a starling discovery that I have been wearing them back to front!

Would've thrown off your sound as well. Audio from the left side going into your right ear.....so if you found yourself being snuck up on by people or vehicles, that's probably why.

What headsets do ye use? I only have the one that came with the PS4. Is it worth upgrading? Any recommendations for one around €50 or so?

My buddy, who's also a boardsie, kindly dropped his set of those plugs up there ^^^ around to me last night so I could try them out. We tested the connection using the wifi and got 10M download and 5M upload.
With those plugs we got 37M download and 10M upload. Some difference.
I never got to try them out in anger though because my other half went out for "a quick drink" with her mate and I was babysitting.
    I shall have my revenge...

    Thanks for the advice guys.

So all I do is plug these into the wall and connect them to the internet source and seprately to the ps4?

Can plug them into an extension lead, I have ran out of sockets.

I have Horizon with Chorus, will I ask then if there is an Ethernet connection point so, is that what I need?

Apologies, I am a novice in this regard

This would be great as I had to quit last night again.

I use Turtle Beach PX22. I know you can get them in GameStop for €90 but I'm sure you could find them cheaper online. They're cheap enough but the sound very good and clear. Comes with a little controller so you can fine tune chat and game volume separately. Even for longer game sessions I rarely find them uncomfortable. For the money, I can't really fault them.

I am planning on an upgrade next Black Friday though :D

Yeah I noticed you join and then drop out fairly quick. Both teams were pretty good actually. Except for maybe 1 of the rounds, they were all fairly close

I don't use those plugs, but by the looks of it you just need 2 small Ethernet cables. 1 from the plug into the back of the Horizon box and the other from the other plug into the PS4. So as long as the Ethernet cable can reach from the Horizon box to the plug, I wouldn't predict any issues using an extension lead.

Yeah not easy to find time during the week with work and other stuff going on. Haven't been on in a couple of days so hoping to get on later tonight. Not sure myself about tomorrow night yet, but will definitely be on over the weekend.

I should be online later (okram_13). Probably will be around 11 or so or whenever I can convince the wife that she's really tired and should go to bed. :pac:
