Be good if Sean returned but the actor seems to be doing well in the US

I suppose they could recast the character if they really wanted to bring him back. Speaking of recasting. ..... was that all they brought Martin back for? To dump Sonia?

I thought he would be back to run the market veg stall for Ian when Peter leaves

I wouldn't like a Sean recast, the actor was actually good. I think recasts should only be made for the likes of Ben Mitchell, the current one is the best by a mile in my opinion. I wasn't keen on the Martin Fowler one either.

the actor may be good but i just think the way they have evolved the character over the years is verging on silly. I know we all change with age but he is a completely different person. and these "changes" all happen off screen

If she does it herself then she will know for sure he is dead :p also can Charlie and Les be prosecuted for faking Nick's death?

Now that you say it the police came the other day looking for Nick... no mention of the fact he was meant to be dead? :P

Charlie told them that as far as they knew he was dead & the police guy said "we certainly have no record of his death".

I read somewhere Roxy has the same ringtone as all the other suspects.

Nice spot from an eagle eared viewer!

I'm guessing its Abi and Max knows something about it and is covering it up or its just the fact he is covering up his last known meeting with Lucey at the carlot. I can't see Roxy having a motive? Though Ben and Jay may have something to with it?

Can Ben not just deny he signed the form?

Plus should there not be other witnesses present?

I saw him signing it. I recorded it also............... I'll gladly testify.

But seriously, ignore any possible legal loopholes on a soap, will do your head in

I'm not sure the writers know tbh. She could be a great character. It's nice that they aren't just shoving her in our face (cough... Carters... cough..) , it's very subtle introduction.

Ben should be toughened up a bit more. He has potential to be something like Sean Slater if they did it right. But he's always being portrayed as physically weak.

I think that's the idea though, hes not like phil, he is weak and is gay, the complete opposite of what phil wants him to be and no matter how much he tries to pretend he isn't for his dad he can't change who he is. And I think its good how that makes him more mentally unstable and interesting as a character. As much as I do laugh at him a lot and roll my eyes when he tries to act like phil :pac:

The irony is that for all his bad deeds Phil's never had it in him to kill anyone.

Lucy's killer has yet to be revealed :pac:

Also, when ben killed someone it was a lovable innocent person so it wasn't even a "tough guy" thing, it was still a **** up

Because he is physically weak. The character has changed too much over time. To turn him into the incredible hulk would really be an insult to long term viewers. I'll just about accept him as he is now, the nervous rages, the slight psychosis, the paronia, the issue with his sexuality, the obsession with impressing/endearing himself to Phil, the lack of empathy towards most people and the social complexities. These have all been altered to develop the character. Leave him at that.

Phil's actually such a joke now I'm sorry, so different to his heyday, especially when Grant was by his side. Phil was the brains and mainly calm of the operation, he's just a different person now
