Ive noticed a big increase, mostly in the states or Uk where teachers have been caught Roiding the student

This never happened in my day, is this the new thing

Funny that it does mostly seem to be Female teachers....not exclusively, but mostly the ones reported seem to be Female teachers.

A big increase in reports of it thanks to the internet. It's hardly big enough news to make the TV which is why you didn't hear about it as much before.

Yes it did but they were pasty Irish students and not very attractive teachers so nobody cared.

Nothing new here, remember hearing of it going on in my sister's class in secondary in the early 80s, late 70s. Only new thing is the internet, snapchat and now easily obtained "evidence"...

At a guess I would say way back when it might have been more common actually.
I'd say it does go on but a lot less than people might think at least in decent schools.
I do remember having a chat on holidays with the UK teacher, he said he had been propositioned a few times by his students (he was young and good looking so I do believe him). His take on it though wasn't a moral one, he taught a-levels so they might only a couple of years younger than him but that you would have to absolutely nuts or massively sex deprived to put your career into the hands of a teenage girl your having an inherently unstable relationship with.
