It does! heated ones and all! :D

Sounds like a good car, shame the engine went. What the under carriage like(rust free)? My past two cars the under body was rotten with rust but they were cheap i suppose.

It's completely rust free underneath, it is a shame it happened but sure, onwards and all that! oddly enough both cars were at a point where they need just as much work as the other, so i figured I'll sell the engine to this guy, in exchange for helping me do work on the blue saab, that way he gets an engine, and i get a somewhat functioning car again :D so the plans i had for the green one, new clutch, subframe polybushed and all that, are going into the blue one now, so nothing's really changed

Focus is coming off the road for the next 2 weeks or so until I get her sorted out. Bushing on the back is gone fair bad, knocking all the time. Slight vibration and pulling to the left on the steering since getting the new tyres on, hardly needs to be tracked again? And will get the pump or whatever issue it is, sorted during the week with the main stealer, as bad as they are, they always can diagnose a problem within 2 minutes.

I was just about to say the green engine could be fixed if you had the time and parts.

I had a dark green (almost same as your green shade) Volvo 850 2.3 5cyl 20v turbo t5 estate, was a great road car and I would have had no problems doing track days.. If you recall Volvo entered and won bttc race's in an 850 wagon the crazy swedes' even had a giant stuffed toy dog in the back for the lolz.. no reason you can't replicate with the 95

Oh it can be fixed, i just dont have the time or the parts,it works out better this way i think, the saab i have now is everything i was trying to turn the green one into so all i really need to do is get the spoiler i have done and put on, and bigger brakes and a bigger turbo and yeah!

What mods did you make to the polo? For the run, sounded well when you were driving it through the towns and revving the a55 off it,trying to get backfires..and keep the crowd entertained.

Ha ha ha i love your description!
Just plugged the 02 sensor out, overfuelled like a pig but she made noise!

Who is doing the voice over? Good voice for it too.

Again, Cian. He is unreal at that kind of stuff, his prank calls are brilliant!

There is something nice about seeing your old car on donedeal or in person especially if they've been minded. My dad sold a 2005 grand vitara in 2006 lovely jeep green in colour it had spots, bullbar, side steps the whole works. But he sold it to a family about 10km away from us since then I've always seen it a few times a year I only seen it a month or two ago. Still the same owner and they keep it so well it's a credit to them still like new. Hard to believe that's 10 years old I remember collecting it with him like it was yesterday.

Considering how awesome laser projectors are to get them in a headlight would be super.
And pretty much never needed to be changed, so expect an excuse for a massive bill if they break!!

Right here is the famous "Cannonballs" now :)
It's just been a mess taking one funny day and turning it into this priceless thing!

Marlow once met Cian and said he wanted to be in a video, he's in this one, see if ye can spot him :)

We're looking for cameo appearances for next year.

That's a great watch, well done. Marlow is an easy spot :D

Got a call from the Honda lads here and the parts have been ordered, joujoujou you were right the lights are coming from Honda Ireland.
Estimated time of completion is around 2 weeks from now, possibly 3.
    Eh :/

Great video YB, hilarious to see the support it was getting :pac:

Got my parking sensors today so I'll fit the plastic trim pieces today at least and maybe tackle the ones inside the actual bumper.

My head unit should be here today or tomorrow too, hurry up!

Twas some video Yb.... cracked me the fook up :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,473 ✭✭✭YbFocus

Thanks again lads, honestly the video doesn't portray the support. We were caught up in the middle of them in a town at one point and they were all taking turns tearing off, we done the same and literally the place went mental!
One of the best experiences in my life to date!

More than welcome for next year lads there's two seats free, different car though!

At least it's not your problem to deal with fools from Polish insurance companies. Just let the Honda lads do everything, including flow of funds (if you know what I mean). :)
