Why is the western world not as outraged by these scumbags using children to murder totally innocent people as it is about some person knowingly painting a target on his back to exercise his right to free speech by somehow managing to insult a large portion of the worlds population.

Because White Europeans/Americans > Black Africans in many peoples minds is what it actually boils down to. It's disgusting but it's bloody true. Compare Colombine to any of these atrocities. Literally hundreds of books written on it and documentaries, movies etc. It's not as real when it's happening in Deepest,Darkest Africa. Easier to just think of them as 'over there' and uncivilised and what have you. That figure of 2000 (two f*cking THOUSAND) from the Boko Haram massacre weekend would be causation for war if it happened in the UK or US.

Im starting to think that the world needs empires and that not every country should have the right to independence.

Africa cant defend itself and if Nigeria was part of France,its unlikely such things would be happening and least not on such a scale.

Africa is just a nation of violence, jihad and government coups, one after another.

I dont care how controversial it is to say, Africa cant manage itself would be in better shape if it was part of the French empire as some parts were before.

Just watching CNN and one reporter is talking about when Libya fell, huge amounts of weapons and large items such as miltary helicopters were seized by islamic jihadist and flowed on the back of trucks to Niger in Nigeria.

That is why is a mistake to get involved in Libya without getting involved enough to boots on the ground.

After the Iraq war, probably the biggest mistake westerns forces made was getting involved in Libya.

I'd support France, UK or USA taken over Iraq and dividing it up amongst themselves. Look what has happened after they left.

Would surely have been better for all if they never left at all.

Right, might take some flak for this. And could be wrong. But I think the kid detonated the explosives. I doubt anything like a radio operated explosive device was used, I doubt Boko Haram have that level of sophistication.

THAT SAID the kid was probably under threats or some kind of pressure, lied to or just brainwashed into carrying out orders.

Female suicide bombers in Nigeria are now carrying babies to avoid detection in their attacks, authorities warn.
An attack in the town of Madagali on 13 January saw two women detonate their devices, killing themselves, two babies, and four others.
They had passed a vigilante checkpoint, mistaken for civilians because they were carrying infants.
Female attackers have been seen before, but officials said the use of babies could signal a "dangerous" trend.
The insurgent group Boko Haram is widely suspected of having carried out the attack.
Four women attacked Madagali located in Adamawa State, which was recaptured from Boko Haram in 2015.
Two were stopped at a security checkpoint, and detonated their devices, officials said.
The two women carrying infants, however, were not stopped, and exploded their own devices past the security point.
Boko Haram is known for using women, including young girls, as suicide bombers.

That's like calling the Taxi drivers during the troubles that were forced at gun point to drive their cars with bombs in them into checkpoints suicide bombers. It makes for a clickbait headline but it's clearly absolute ****e. Even if she did it knowingly she was still 10 and completely unable to make a decision like that in any proper manner. The poor girl was one of 20 people murdered.
