Surely in that size, or even the other size you were looking at, 75 a corner would buy you something half decent.

When I had my focus I got goodyear excellence for 79 a corner although that was 205/55/16 which would be cheaper than the 205/50/16.

    Ok, these are the yokes...

They seem to get reasonable reviews here anyway.

Are they called Landsail because when it rails you float along like a rudderless boat? :pac:

    Sorry the name amused me.

OH has now decided that an S-Type might be an option in his quest for a jag

Might be going to see one the next few days

My parents are going on about getting a jag for I don't know how long they probably will get one in the next few years once my younger brother has learned to drive that's kind of why they are keeping the octavia so he can get reasonably priced insurance on it. They both like the jag XF. Although deep down my mother would love a 3 series e90 or f30.

Are you going to drive the merc if the oh gets another car ?

Ohs father has the jag XF it's a nice enough car, but I find the suspension in it to be way too stiff

Yeah I'll temp drive the merc, seeing as it's just passed it's nct

    Currently OH has seen

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/jaguar-s-type-2-5-sport-only65k/8425322

    and

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/stunning-s-type-jaguar-sale-or-swap-nctd/8347570

online. Seems to be much of a muchness between them apart from one having double the mileage

The first one seems like a lot better buy the fact it's in a garage so warranty very clean looking lower mileage even if it is a year older.
