The realisation that Christmas is over , no more beer and nice food and much more walking / Gym :(

Also getting an itch on the sole of my foot and having to rub it on the side of my bed as I think it's horrible scratching it.

I hate when people say "how are you" instead of "hi". I know darn well they could care less how I am. I'd love to come up with a pithy response that does not reveal how I am because as I said, they don't care.

Wrong side of the bed this morning?

Hate waking up to rain when I have to unlock the gates

Didn't get much time off so I've no excuse. Christmas Day, stephens day, New Years day and yesterday. I'd hate to be home more than that though.

    Waiting for holidays annoys me.

    Being on holidays annoys me

Companies that don't 'get' the internet, if you have a 'Contact Us' page and or give out your email address I don't think it's unreasonable to get a reply to a query. ( I am allowing for the fact that it's holiday time)

This is for a fairly specialised and expensive piece of electronics, I'd be very surprised if there's a market for 10 of them in a year in Ireland so if you have one in stock you might try to sell it

People who get offended by something minor in a comment and derail things to focus on that one thing that's totally irrelevent to the discussion because they want a fcuking pat on the back from other people. Attention seeking thanks whores.(Not boards that I'm referring to).

People who stack dirty cutlery, mugs and dishes on the counter instead of putting them STRAIGHT INTO THE DISHWASHER!!!

Not trivial, at all. But I need to rant. I posted already about my beautiful puppy injuring his eye, two weeks ago (neighbours starving dog fought him for food) Brought him to the vet, he was given injection and drops which I had to apply twice a day. It was still sore but much better. Now when I get in from work in the evening, the first thing I do is take off my coat, second is give my boys (the dogs) kisses and say hello to them. Kissed the oldest dog, and then went to kiss my puppy. But his eye was firmly shut. I washed it but he didn't want to open it, so I rang the out of hours vet.
Explained I was worried and that my other dog had a bite wound on his leg. Vet said to bring both of them in.

Puppy - has an ulcer on his eye. He was bitten AGAIN on his actual eye. His eye is turned down and he might not have any sight in it.
Daddy dog - has an infection and damaged tendons from a bite on his leg.

110.50 euro lighter tonight and two badly injured dogs, bastards next door with a rake of dogs they never feed. I swear to god I'm so angry right now Im thinking about knocking in there and having war with them on the doorstep. The dog is so cross he stands charging at us in our own garden when I yell at him to go home. I wish harm on no dog, but I swear to god if one other thing happens to my darlings in their own garden, or if that dog ever charges me again, I'll have my brother in here with the rifle and I won't think twice about it. I love love love dogs, but not at my own dogs or my own safety.

ISPCA and dog warden are doing **** all.

Hopefully they'll be okay. OH has been banished to the spare room and both of them are going to sleep in our bed tonight, I know when I was little and sick, sleeping in my parents bed always made me feel a little better. I'll take Tuesday and Wednesday off work too because puppy needs intense attention and I won't trust anyone else to do it right. Just so inconvenient. Why have pets and not feed them? Ugh

People and businesses who insist on using the terms 12 a.m. and 12 p.m.

These times do not exist - there is 12 noon and 12 midnight.

Checking the post of the day hoping to find a funny picture from the YLYL thread, only for it to be another daily weather report. The obsession with the weather really is an Irish thing!

Or worse, the sink! Yeah, thats a great place. I'll just fish out the dishes from the pools of water and old food.

Probably my #1 annoyance in a shared house. Gimme space to fill the kettle!

I hoped to get up reasonably early on Sunday because I've a few things to do and don't want to waste half a day sleeping. And now I'm lying wide awake in bed. I CAN'T SLEEP
So I'll either get up early as planned but cranky because it's more likely that I'll be tired. Or I'll sleep until I'll wake up. Cranky because I've wasted half a day.

Getting food tonight, and I engage in words with some female. She finds it okay to racially abuse the lads (who I know well) behind the counter about her food taking longer than 90 seconds, while I try to advise that it's worth the wait. She clocks me over the head with her heavy-base handbag (which is still hurting), and then threatens me with death several times, saying there's a car full of her friends waiting to 'do me because I'm f**king dead'.

    Very annoying mes amis.

I thought finding selfies of people on my Facebook page was bad. Today it got worse, there was a photo of someone taking a photo of someone taking a selfie. Now, this person posts selfies at least once a day every day. She's late 40's, shaped like an underweight teenage boy and single and not remotely attractive, I almost feel like I should post 'eat something' on her timeline when she starts ranting on about her latest gym craze or bootcamp.

The way the self-service checkouts in Dunnes give you back most of your small change in copper coins!!

Me back is fecked from lugging me bag around, full of shrapnel! :)

    Off licence opening hours.

Got up early to be at supervalu when they opened at 0800. Had some people coming g over for dinner and needed to pick up the grub and a small bottle of wine for cooking.

Could not but the poxy wine until 1030 so had to come back out again.

What is the point of restricting the purchasing of alcohol until 1030am. It's a pain in the hole that's all it is.

    It's bloody madness.

Can somebody give one good reason why it should not be sold until 1200 on a Sunday ?

Nope personally I think it should be open all night. We were out in Brighton one weekend, got back to hotel after the night out, got a taste for more alcohol and went and found an off licence open at about 2am. Swigging neat vodka from a paper bag on the way back to hotel. That's how you finish a weekend.
It's a balls that when you want to bring people back after the nightclub that you can't find anywhere to buy drink.

I can go either of two ways home from my sister's house. One way all main road , with a million roundabouts and busy enough. The other a windy, hilly, dark back road that you can nip around, and probably not meet another car. I chose the back road this evening. I hit what felt like a massive pothole, that I swear was not there before. Punctured tyre and damaged alloy :(. I had to fess up to OH that I used the back road. He always tells me not to because of the potholes, and there really isn't that much time saved on it anyway. Ugggghhhhh:(
