Sorry about that, I was a little distracted on the way home.
This guy in a silver BMW kept driving up behind me

I kept my distance and warned drivers behind me so they wouldn't try to undertake him.

One of the number plate lights is constantly acting up on the golf in the fact that when the lights come on there is a fifty fifty chance it won't come on. But if it doesn't and you give it a bang it will work. Is that most likely the connection rather than the bulb ? I hope it's not a cvrt fail. I must have a look tomorrow and see it I can spot the problem.

Right so after 140 miles over the first day, the fuel calculation came out at 18.9mpg :D

That involves mostly spirited driving so I'll keep a keen eye.

It's a connection. See if the bulb is sitting correctly.

Don't think the number plate lights are checked. Dads jeep passed the last one without any, didn't notice until after the test. Judging by the amount of cars with no number plate lights at all, the NCT don't check it either.

Mine from last night after long runs the range starts to say weird things 1200 km to a tank I wish. But it does adjust once you start doing a load of short trips.

It's on a lot of cars, but what's the reason the 30 and 50 are in red. Is it something to do with driving in towns and the speed limits.

I think it's maximum speeds in lower gears 1st and 2nd gear I think thats the reason behind it.

I just looked up some YouTube acceleration videos and it does the guts of 50 in first and 75 kmh in second so my theory is wrong so as Noccy said it must be related to town speed limits.

I was thinking, it would very highly geared if it were the previous case.
