Yes, I use them. Prices are good, but they are vey slow to despatch goods and then they can take a week or two to arrive. If you are in no hurry, they are great.

Bought a CD from them... Took over 3 wks.... Arrived from Hong Kong and it was a version of the CD for the Asian market with a label on the back saying "Not for sale outside of South East Asia". I won't be using them again.

Personally, I'll never use then again! My bank account was debited on may 24th and I still haven't received my purchase! Dreadful service!

I have ordered a CD from them. Their delivery date was better than amazon. Nothing yet!

All I can get from my account is "Backorder".

Think I'll stick with Amazon.

They're ok, but their CDs are Asian versions (could be anywhere from Hong Kong to Malaysia), CDs might be slightly damaged during shipping. Better stick with Amazon for reliability

I bought a bottle of perfume from them a week ago. It arrived today and we were stung with an extra €30 customs charge by the postman at the door. (He did not give my wife a receipt either). Nowhere on wow HD does it say where the order is coming from.
I see a sticker on the box that says strawberry net Singapore. A google search turns up a website that sells perfume! I wonder are fulfilling the orders on behalf of wowHD. There is also another label where the postage stamp would be that has PP sweden if undelivered return to an address in Sweden.

Ordered a P3 game from WOW HD at the start of December and was told 4 to 10 days for Delivery(lying), Its now 17th of December and still no delivery. Sent two emails to their customer service and no reply.
The fact that they are SLOW to deliver & the fact that their Customer Service will not reply to enquiries, I will not be using WOW HD ever again

Absolultely awful.. Ordered a cd 3 wks ago and still not arrived.. Don't know how they are allowed operate.. Never again would I use them.

I did a search on boards for wowhd.ie and this came up. I ordered something last week. I ordered a CD for a gift and still no sign of it. Going by this thread, I'm going to give up waiting and will pop into town sometime when I am free at fcuk knows when for something else as a gift.

I presumed it was coming from Ireland because of the .ie after the wowhd and the price of the CD was in Euros.

that is no indication of anything. they even say in their FAQ

The fact that they even mention customs charges means that they dont ship from ireland.

I've ordered from them before (I get vouchers from Irish Opinions) and sometimes it takes up to a month to arrive. If youre impatient I wouldnt order from them. Some items come from China and the USA so it's unpredictable.

Ordered from them many times. Most of items came from Far East (HK, Singapore, Thailand etc.), just one or two came from Europe (not sure now - Switzerland or Luxembourg).

i use couchers too and at least a month before it arrives. Customer service is useless. I only use them because I get vouchers from them

I used the contact link.

The email they kept replying with was support@wowhd.com

They replied two days after I contacted them.

I'm not sure how long after that I was given a refund.
(It was March 2013)

I've used them quite a few times now and find that the only issue I've ever had with them is their delivery times. TBH, the only reason I started using them was because they accepted laser when most other sites only accepted credit cards. I have a VISA Debit now though but I still use them.

Once you're aware of the fact that the product could take a while to be delivered, and are okay with this, then I don't think there's an issue.

I remember emailing them twice when the waiting time exceeded 15 days and they emailed back within two days. That's usually as far as I got though as the product arrived just before they emailed back, on both occasions. :pac:

I'm sorry I hadn't checked out wow hd before I ordered stuff.
I paid for my items on the 25th May and all it say's is "backorder" I've written to customer services twice , the 2nd time asking for refund and never got a reply. Won't ever be using them again

I've got a good few CDs and DVDs from them with no problems. Granted they are very slow but I can live with that. I purchased two CDs on March 27th and I got notification that they were dispatched June 4th - I should get them next week some time. But I haven't received any marketing emails from them over the past month or so - I usually get two or three a week - is that an indication that they might be in trouble?

When I ordered the stuff, it said it was in stock. My grandson is home from Australia tomorrow and I had ordered 3d movies. I had told my grandson I had the movie's for him as it said 4 to 10 days from dispatch and I didn't expect any problems.
