I love Lauren's facial expressions though. I shall miss her when she's gone.

I imagine so. For what it's worth, Carol comes off as a better detective than Emma ever did. She discovered Charlie's little secret, while Emma actually believed his story and backed off. She also found out about Janine and David last, and some other stuff. I could see her discovering the truth about Lucy too as Carol is now the only real link the case now that she found the file. Unless you count the police of course. But within the Eastenders cast she the best one to continue the story.

Also Carol would be likely to cover it up to protect any of the Branning's or Whitney which may also extend to Lee, which makes it a bit more intriguing.

Me too. Unless they introduce some new blood fairly soon I reckon I'll stop watching again once the killer is revealed and Lauren and Peter leave.

Be interesting if Max was the killer though. Did he take a detour on the way to the hospital? Did he park off somewhere and wait for her to pass out? Did he keep jamming on the breaks to make the car do that jerky thing to make her head injury even worse?

Thought the wedding scene was a bit stupid last night. I mean Ronnie and Phil chatting Phil gets angry turning the table over. Whats said or done about it nothing. Whats going on Ronnie ?? Oh nothing I can sort it. Come on we have to sign the register.

I have a theory about Lucy's killer. I think it may be Abby and Max is in on it (he could be helping her cover it up).

I really feel Abby has acted shady around Emma since day 1. She was also the one who sent Max the photos of him and Lucy.

She seemed like she could care less what happened to Emma when Max took her to the hospital.

And also on their way to the hospital, Emma said she knew Lauren was not the killer and when Max acted confused she said 'you know'.

Another thing I noted was that Emma had the killer's number on her phone. She must have known the killer personally and the way she spoke to the killer made it seem like they knew each other.

And like others have noted, Emma didn't go to the police straight away which suggests she may have been close to the killer.

If Abi or Cindy are the killer, how could they move Lucy's body to where it was found on there own (I believe the police said she wasn't killed there) so they had to have help, I know Lucy was very thin so wouldn't be too heavy but neither Abi or Cindy could drive when she was killed, didn't Abi only learn recent enough

That's why I think Max may have had something to do with the cover up. Its just a theory though.
